Trying to do the nearly end of the month money shuffle, but failing as half the banks seem to be down. I've at least been able to schedule payment of my salary, HMRC, and pay my September mileage and expenses. I'd complain about how slow my employer is to pay out, but actually it is me. The company claims them from the project then I never get round to paying myself. Anyway current account probably looks healthier, if only I could see it.
Part of me wants to wait for the 1st anyway so I can do nice round numbers once the interest has gone out and the regular payment in. I am pushing for the next big round number down this month which is disproportionately exciting. We spend a little time every week looking at Rightmove and places we could buy if we stick with the programme, which helps with motivation. My Breakfast at Tiffanys is a black coffee and a few minutes looking at ruralscene
Dinner tonight was our newly set Monday gourmet delight of jacket potato, cheese, beans, sausages and variations on that theme. Leftover sausages have been sliced thinly into egg mayo with rocket for packed lunches (sorry office).
Everyone else has man flu. I have a mild cold :cool:My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese
