Hello redo!
Sorry it has taken me so long to find your diary. I've read a bit at the beginning and a bit at the end. I'll sort out the middle presently.
Don't get me started on planting and the garden. The To Do list alone would take a week!
See you soon.Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

:hello: hello Positive Balance. I think you just have to break the garden stuff down into bits and then prioritise it.
Job for today is to check that I have enough compost, labels and pots for the 192 plus plants that are due. Best chance of success comes from potting them on quickly I think. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

How about doing something about one or other of them then?:p0 -

Shouldn't you be working?
I am doing something about the gardening ideas, just not quickly. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

I even like the lists of gardening tasks so if you were Greenflylady (LOVE that title
)the possible jobs we could be doing in any given month could be listed for us to do. I would LOVE that

DIA, I looked and sadly that was taken as was greenfly, even if not in use. I need to be careful about copyright as well although I can borrow the themes (mowing the lawn being most peoples equivalent of shining the sink, etc). I do have a name, and have reserved web address, social media stuff, etc.
MrL has compost in today so might nip over later. I am also being tempted by the £70 IPL hair removal thing in a moment of randomness, just giggling at the HUKD description of 'might just be snake oil'. I am sure it'd just end up in the gadget drawer next to the ouchy epilator. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

EDITED POST as I just became aware that you kindly posted a link to my new diary at the end of my old diary. Clearly aware that I was incapable of doing it. Thank you for that. :AIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Love the "gardening flylady" idea and bet it would get a real following! I'm a garden incompetent, it's a miracle that Pippi hasn't disowned me as a friend years ago! :rotfl:
The rounding down of bank accounts can save a surprising amount can't it - I generally just do the current accounts these days, but used to rip the interest out of the assorted savings pots (aside from the ISA obviously) into our "Virtual Sealed pot" each year too.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Wow! You've certainly got going on your garden since I last popped in! It'll be looking like Rivendell in no time!
I'm getting very excited about your gardening blog/book as well - even though I haven't got a garden!:j
Re. the ouchy epilator - I can attest to the fact that once you reach a certain "decade" (you've still got some time to go yet!), body hair does seem to disappear - however, the only place it decides to reappear in abundance appears to be on one's chin!:(Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
