Fmess - I know that sugar is an inflammatory substance to the body. I have only suffered with arthriticky hands and feet for the last 15 months, partly due to also having a 'difficult' year, but when I trialled cutting right back on all added sugar in April/May, the difference to my joints was immense! I'd say it is definitely worth a go. (And drink gallons of water too!)
Today I am grateful for catching up with a friend, for said friend picking us up and dropping us home, for our dds playing together brilliantly, for yummy cheap food, for big sis staying overnight, for nsd#3.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Still haven't posted my goals for the month - its been busy all week so far.
Last night I went out with my bestie for a meal (monthly thing we do) and then tonight DH is out so by the time I have done all the evening jobs single handed its gone 9pm and I am sitting down for a breather.
I am behind on the Frugalwoods emails, think I am on day 27 so not too far behind.
So yesterday was not a NSD but today has been so that's 2 already this month.
Its lovely to see all the positives for everyone - I can feel the vibes oozing all over this thread!!!!0 -

Allocate – set your budgets for the month – Nothing touched yet. Bf wants to head into town on Saturday, I do have a cope of things to buy him birthday present-wise, and I need some paints and bits for my brothers birthday present in October, all of which would come out of the gift-pot.
Use (Up) – I've finished up a packed of dried pinto beans in tonights tea, and I'm meal planning for next week, with using up in mind.
Glorification (trying to keep the G) My Daily Achievement – Lots of praises from the boss today. Always good to feel appreciated.
Upcoming (holidays) – Doggy day out Sunday 13th at the nearby house & gardens. £2.50 entry each. Tempted by the £5.00 cream tea, and the £5.00 doggy tea party (Duncan would get a doggy cake, treats and a party hat). All for the local cats & dogs home.
Week off from the 19th. Off to see my mum for a few days, it's bfs birthday on the 22nd. Budget £100
Spends – 3/22 NSDs - 3rd NSD today. Next 3 will be spend days however.
Time (for yourself) – Early night. Bf was up early for work, so I had to do the early pup stroll. So tired now.Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

A NSD for me.
Today's gratitudes -
I got to play with the counsellor's puppy
I got to mum's just in time to stop her trying to bring the washing in - had only just gone out and then we had a shower (as I was getting into the taxi) which turned into a downpour ( had to fight to get the gate padlock undone as it was pouring so hard I couldn't see what I was doing.
Getting a 'day off' tomorrow, as I am taking mum to an appointment on Saturday. That's a 'day off'' to get the house in some sort of order, do washing (and get it dry), finish off some of the card making toppers and supplies, plan order mum's shopping to be delivered next week (+ bread and milk to take on Saturday and things to be added to my Icyland shop, rest and relax, send off for coach holiday brochures, find out more about these knitted squares I am supposed to stitch together and have some rest and relaxation. I may have a bath in a bit.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Evening everyone,
Thursday is one of my no work days (hurray!) so me and the little one walked down to the bank and Farmfoods this morning. I’m having my sister and niece round tomorrow so we picked up some pizza, garlic bread, potato wedges, ice cream and juice bringing my spends for the month to £8.77 to date.
Planned to go to baby sensory at 2pm but the little one went for a 3 hour nap and didn’t wake until 1.40pm so ended up spending the rest of the day at home.
Had a bit of me time and watched an episode of Grimm as well as reading my book.
Today I am grateful for a largely dry day, not having to wait in a queue at the bank and friendly neighbours.VSPC 2019 #10 - £168.80/£100 VSPC 2020 #4 - £262.03/£200 VSPC 2021 #9 - £242.88/£200 VSPC 2022 #3 - £188.03/£200 VSPC 2023 #7 - £0/£2000
