Shopping day out with bestie today, so not NSD. She drove, and parking there was free. My spends were £13 (lunch), £5.09 (reduced top in sales for her as part of her pressie) & £43 on school clothes. I did also buy a new charger and a phone screen protector - but will get reimbursed for those, so am not counting them :)

    Running totals are therefore:
    Cleaning £9.95
    Gifts £9.76
    Clothe £26
    Food £82.88
    Meals out £13
    School shopping £43

    Today I am grateful for:
    * time spent with bestie
    * bargainacious top
    * M&S reward vouchers arriving in post
    * yummy cake as part of lunch :)
    * DD looking after smalls whilst I was out
    * the weather staying dry after a damp start

Thanks FBO, I can also suffer with mental health issues, particularly as winter begins and the winter term gets into full swing and craziness.

I've called the cleaner and she'll start the week I go back to school :) I can't wait. I've asked her to do a general clean throughout each week and jobs like window cleaning etc every so often. I'm so pleased now I've called her.

Apologies for not posting yesterday, I had the worst headache in the evening, came on really suddenly and lasted all night and during the night too. Am super tired today as a result, headache is gone but feel drained. Yesterday was a NSD and a healthy day though so that was good.

Today I was so hungry I had to buy extra lunch as I'd eaten all my food by lunchtime! Very unlike me lol. So not a NSD. I had another chiropractor appointment as well and spoke about my treatment plan, looks like I need to be treated for about 18 months to really sort my back out! I forgot to ask which type of arthritis it was, will check next time!

Early night tonight, hope everyone has a good evening.

    Another 2 NSD's to report.

Today was supposed to be spendy as was at the dentist, but he wants me for another hour (sigh) so no bill! yay! silly thing wanted to drill down another millimetre (yeah really 1mm) but after taking out all the temporary filler he put in after the last hour long session, he couldnt, so he had to put it all back in and did not have enough time left to xray or put in a permanent filling. So he has given up, and in two weeks it will all be over. So unexpected NSD. All food from stores - nearly did a ' s*d it all' and nearly bought a takeaway, but ended up making courgette and random veg fritters and a sweetcorn and potato soup. No spends necessary. Everyone ate it; nobody died. Success

    Grateful for:
Only having to see Dr Dentist one more time .... Not having to pay today.....The NHS ..... Chocolate ice cream ..... Earl Grey ... steel toe-capped boots....

Hope you're feeling better soon Lcc86.

Busy busy today, but I love the feeling of satisfaction after a productive day.

Another spend day today, mostly all from allocated budgets but I did blow £5 in the £land on pretty stationery. Trying to justify it to myself by saying I'll need stuff for college!

Today I'm grateful to my dad fixing my shower, to the lady in the cake shop below our office for giving us a box of free delicious cupcakes, that the sun made a rare appearance, to my neighbours sun for cutting my grass and for giggles with my friends little boy.

    Today I am grateful for

    - a SFD
    - more temp work
    - walking the dogs in the dry
    - no known calamities to my property with the next door neighbours using a digger to destroy all their garden and driveway
    - my friend cooking me dinner
    - a colleague kindly buying me a gluten free treat
    - my dogs not falling out during the stress of having a digger working next to the house all day (one of them picked on one of the others a few days ago and it's been making me worried he'll do it again)
    - getting a cleaner

The dust bunnies killed my house fairy.

Awake early again, so eased into the day - just want to carry that feeling of serenity around with me. Book back to library, letter to post box, walked to Centre to check on the knitted squares - will arrive on Wednesday and there is no deadline (just need to see how many there are).

Walked from there all the way to mum's. She wasn't great and was ill yesterday - I had said to phone me but she said she was ok, just rested, didn't bother washing or getting dressed but did manage to eat and take her pills.

Nurse has been this morning, promised long term antibiotics still not materialised so she went back to the surgery and came back with them this afternoon - hopefully between the 2 of us we have now sorted her medication so that all the thiings she needs will arrive in the regular delivery and the overstocked ones won't.

Mum actually went to lie down on the bed for a little while this afternoon. We are both hoping the new anti-biotics will help stabilise things. I tried to sort some photographs (partner's family). Didn't do as much as I wanted (mum's still saying she might put some of them back up) but swapped some frames over (partner's brothers and sisters and his grandchildren now in good frames to go to his room in the home) and rescued a portrait of our old dog which had been covered (nearly damaged) by someone putting a graduation photo on top of it.

Doesn't sound like much but a lot of careful trimming and peeling apart was involved (several photos were left because they were stuck to the glass), two frames binned and 4 for the charity shop. Cleared 2 drawers of paperwork - mostly various care agencies that have dealt with mum's partner over the last few years.

Came home at 9pm. Today I am grateful that we have finally sorted out mum's medication, for making some progress with several tasks and for conversations with DS1. The wedding will be in Sorrento which is good because I am slightly familiar with the area but it's further to travel - not sure which is scarier, flying or having my photo taken.

Lovely to see all your gratitudes.

Managed a NSD on Sunday but spent yesterday as had to go to big supermarket to get hemp milk as the supermarket I went to on Saturday doesn't sell it.

Hoping today will be a NSD as nothing that I need to buy.

    I am grateful for:
    1. My piggies are getting friendlier and we can now stroke them
    2. DD has learnt to make scones (which is less messy than pancakes)
    3. Fresh weather (not too hot and not too cold)
