That's so frustrating.  I'm wondering if something is afoot - I sent a email to the solicitor yesterday, checking if there was anything at all that I needed to get done before exchange..... nothing.  And I sent another after lunch today to ask if we were all go for tomorrow, and... nothing.  If I hear nothing tomorrow by maybe 10am, I'm going to phone (I've never actually called them.. I hate speaking to people ).  I now wonder if Accord have put the brakes on.

We complete tomorrow and I’ve heard nothing since exchange from solicitor.  I’ve gone with the thinking that there’s nothing to be done until they confirm completion.  I did get an email from lender this morning confirming our mortgage has been released and will be with sols by end of today, this stopped me from putting a call in today to check all is ready for the morning........ I’m guessing at some point tomorrow they’ll confirm the money has been sent and completion has happened 🥳 hoping we can have the keys and get cracking before the 1pm deadline for the sellers to vacate... Good luck with your completion and move

I wouldn't expect a call from your solicitor but they may do out of courtesy.

Hmm... I don't think exchange is now happening tomorrow, the vendor seems to know nothing about it, despite their solicitors last Friday asking for exchange tomorrow.  I've set up the home insurance policy too and sent all the money over, with no idea of dates anymore.  I just..... despair.

It’s 13 years since I purchased my first home so I can’t remember who we spoke to on the day - I’m guessing just the EA will call when keys are ready then.  Thank you, that’s one less thing to think about 😊

Thank you!! I’ve not had anything from our lender but my solicitor told me at 4pm today that everything is in place for Monday so fingers crossed all fine. Going to be a long weekend!!!

So sorry some of you are having the wait from hell.  Really hope you all get good news soon and that you'll all be on the move and surrounded by boxes in your new homes!
An update from me:

24/09 - flat went on the market - loads of viewings and a couple of (very) low-ball offers from investors
21/12 - reduced the price
13/01 - accepted an offer just under the revised price from a relocation company paying cash who want a 12-week completion (yikes!)
13/01 - instructed solicitor
19/01 - hand-delivered what felt like an entire forest of paper back to the solicitor's office
28/01 - draft contracts sent to buyer's solicitor

19/02 - spoke to EA who told me all was progressing well, searches had been requested and enquiries raised with my solicitor
12/03 - spoke to EA again, all searches are back except the LA search and responses to enquiries have been received.  LA search is due back on 23rd March. 
Hopefully once the LA search is back that will be it and we can start thinking about dates.  Exciting!
