I really do think they arent taking this seriously enough. But yes thank you I really hope it comes good soon. My husband is ready for the hills, sadly he works from home where I cant. I'm stuck in limbo waiting to finish packing or unpacking.0

Maybe they dont want to waste another months rent but if they signed and exchange for completition next week then that would include there march rent would it not? I really am baffled.
If it is a survey just watch they don't try a last minute price reduction for repairs that aren't needed.0 -

Hoping to have a new date today for completition or even an answer as to what the real issue is. The excuse has been work related for 3 weeks but knowing people who work in their industries it just doesnt add up. I hope they are not deciding to pull after 6 months, would be a really awful thing to do. On the flip side, houses on my street only sit for a week before agreed again. It's just this god awful process! Government really needs to a find a way to change it.0 -

Question of the day, to beat the stamp duty...could you exchange and complete but not actually move out 🤣 I'm thinking if for example you can't get removals etc until the week after and have to complete very last minute ...and you could have a gentleman's agreement that you would all live in each others houses for a week or so...0

Just called the solicitor for an update.. there is no update. Chain still maintaining silence despite the EA claiming they had sorted out their rental agreements on Friday and would be ready to exchange this week.
He suggested giving a deadline but we do want to buy the house so we wouldn't be able to follow through on it and walk away, a bit pointless then.0
