Went out without my phone and had a missed call from the EA, and they NEVER ever phone me, so now my mind is racing thinking have our buyers pulled out or something else has gone wrong & I won't be able to get hold of them now until tomorrow so I will be worrying all night thinking the worst 😔0

Just thought i would have a rant.
Our buyers haven't got a mortgage offer yet, 10 weeks from today we accepted there offer after the 1st buyers couldnt get a mortgage.
My solicitor is getting a bit fed up with them holding things up and me pestering for weekly updates.
Iam thinking forget the whole idea. I have an email in my draft folder to our solicitor, estate agent and our sellers agent telling them i dont wish to proceed any further. World war 3 will break out with my OH and I when I send it.
We know the sellers of the house we want. They called my OH talking about exchanging today and completing next week, they couldnt grasp the fact our equity from our house sale was needed to fund the purchase of theres and they never knew our house sale would impact our purchase if there. If only we had 50 gees under our bed!

Today I received all results of the searches as well as a contract and transfer deeds to sign and get witnessed. Completed and hand posted to the solicitor within 3 hours of receiving them in the post (as well as giving my LISA request form too). However just 1 week ago I was informed by my solicitor that the sellers are waiting on their mortgage offer and also some enquiries of the property they are buying. Did I sign everything today just to quicken the process so that as soon as the sellers are ready I have already done all the necessities or could it be that in the last week the sellers have had everything sorted?I’m a FTB and pretty clueless. There’s been no mention of a completion date and my deposit money hasn’t been requested from me yet.0

I've had all the documents that need signing with the searches but I know we're quite ready yet and though the deposit etc. have been mentioned, the solicitor wasn't keen to talk until they're done with the last of the enquiries they're making. I have mentioned a preferred exchange/completion date but that's because I have to give notice where I'm currently living.0 -

it sounds like this might be the problem here too. I have sent my deposit so just waiting on these funds being released. if the banks are that overwhelmed just now maybe they should get people back off furlough! no need for people to be on it if the work is there ! (sorry full on rant there) haha. just so fed up with this whole process. it's been an absolute joke from the get go.0 -
