mine might not be going ahead tomorrow because of the bank not releasing funds. Even though I have had my mortgage offer since the 20th July! They haven't uploaded it to this loan system that the solicitors need to be able to go in and request the funds. absolute disgrace to be honest. it should have been done in July when the offer was done. there is no excuse ! 

it sounds like this might be the problem here too. I have sent my deposit so just waiting on these funds being released. if the banks are that overwhelmed just now maybe they should get people back off furlough!  no need for people to be on it if the work is there ! (sorry full on rant there) haha. just so fed up with this whole process. it's been an absolute joke from the get go.

Fingers crossed the bank sorts themselves out and you pass this final hurdle ASAP. I can imagine how frustrated I feel being so close, so being fed up makes complete sense!

thank you ! I know I really don't know what they are playing at because it should have been uploaded to the portal at the time of mortgage offer. The solicitors have been chasing it up since Wed, I didn't think this would have been an issue until now! it's not the end of the world if it's delayed till next week it would just be nice to have the weekend to arrange deliverys etc. 😊

Another week gone buy and still no sign of a date for exchanging. I am getting really fed up.
Sellers solicitor claims they have satisfied the enquiry proving right of way at the rear of the property (I am purchasing a mid terrace). My solicitor says not. They have reached a stale mate with me caught in the middle. This has been going on for weeks now. 
I put in a formal compliant to my solicitor on Monday who then said my file was "under review" (whatever that means) I have heard nothing since, yet they were quick enough to request my deposit money from my LISA. Not sure what else I can do to get things moving to be honest. It is 3 months since I had my offer accepted on a freehold vacant possession property. I am a first time buyer so there is not even a chain to delay things!

Just heard we've exchanged!  Completion is next Friday however that is the day my monthly mortgage payment comes out- does anyone know what to do, I guess it will come out and nationwide will refund it? thanks!

We completed at 1pm, seller dropped off the keys not long after! My username has now come true 😂

EEK - it's getting closer. Finally agreed on an exchange& completion date today and I've requested to get my HTB ISA closed and so on. The completion date is 10 days from now and they said it can take up to 10 days to get the closing statement for the ISA, so I am naturally a little bit nervous!!! Scariest thing about this is that I've now served my LL notice... 

11/07 (Saturday) Viewed property. Offered, offer rejected with counter offer, I agreed to the counter offer and seller agreed
13/07 (Monday) Mortgage in principle issued through a broker and I instructed a solicitor 
14/07 Mortgage application submitted by the broker
14/07 Requested survey through mortgage company (Platform)
24/07 Survey instructed (Platform is incredibly slow)
26/07 Searches came back
14/08 Survey & valuation performed
19/08 Survey results back - showed some problems
25/08 Mortgage offer issued
03/09 Seller tells me all parties (except me) are ready to exchange (5 household chain)
04/09 Went around the house with a builder for some quotes re: problems and negotiated retaliation with sellers
10/09 Replies to all enquiries finally sorted
11/09 Agreed on exchange date (25/09)
11/09 Requested closing statement for HTB ISA from Natwest
25/09 Proposed exchange & completion
