To me surely it's in the solicitors interest to push things through and keep in the case, as they want to get paid at the end of the day on completion.0

I had my mortgage offer made from Natwest through a mortgage advisor, they advised the solicitor which was on the Natwest approved list, who sent me out all of the documents to fill in and I returned them via registered mail so I know they got there, it's been two weeks now and I've never heard anything back.
Although I know the conveyancing period takes many weeks or even months my bank account details were included in the documents so I was just wondering if they'll take the payment via a BACS payment or I would have to issue this amount to them?
I've emailed to ask them this but had no reply, the solicitor is TMJ based in Hartlepool by the way.
Many thanks.“Isn't this enough? Just this world? Just this beautiful, complex

Wow, you've had a long wait from your offer - congrats!
Yes, there were a lot of issues with our seller's vendor, they pulled out of 2 houses, delayed exchange by not answering enquiries and then lied that they were ready when they didn't have a mortgage offer :wall:
