Don't hope, contact them and ask 😡0 -
Spoke to my solicitor today and everything is ready to go!
We have suggested 20th October as a completion date and now waiting to hear back if the other two parties in the chain agree to the date 🤞3 -
I'm too early I know. But, ..., offer made today. I had the EA on the phone within 10 minutes of sending the email, and they are discussing it.0

@RHemmings, it's nerve-wracking waiting for an offer response, we waited over the weekend and I just managed to wait until lunchtime on the Monday to phone the agent and ask if there was a response!!
Our completion date has been agreed by all for 20th October 😀 So just the dreaded packing to go and waiting for the exchange to go smoothly!1 -

I'm so happy to hear about your completion date. I'm a long way behind you, and I'm really glad to see it working out for others.1 -
Instructed solicitors 22nd August. Just on the second round of queries on the enquiries form and then should be good to exchange. No chain, no sale. Just purchase of an ex-rental property, so hoping to exchange and complete by the end of this month.Increasingly money-conscious

My solicitor tried to exchange today, all good on my sale but on the purchase the supervisor hadn't signed it off and was then with a client so wasn't able to do it!
We go again on Monday 🤞1 -
We finally exchanged at 4.30pm after feeling sick with stress all day!
Now to finish the packing 😭1
