26/09/2022 - Local searches back, all fine
30/09/2022 - Met the solicitor to go through the searches, pre-signed the contract and land registry. She was checking through her emails and noticed that she'd not heard back from the sellers solicitor about the enquiries since 03/09/2022.
So it's all ready on my end more or less, just waiting to hear back from the seller's solicitor.
He's filled out the fixtures and fittings and sent it back to his solicitor and is waiting on the second half of documents but said they're slow coming through due to the Postal Strikes.
The EA called his solicitor to say that I'm ready to go on my end and if they could chase the seller to complete the forms.
In this day and age, with instant messaging and email why are we still using sending forms like this via the post?1 -

Who knows what's going to happen now, our buyers mortgage offer ends in November (FTB - Offered on our house end of April). If we aren't done by then, this all falls through as they wont be able to afford the new interest rates.

He’s writing up his final report this week and going to send on documents for signature. Our LISA monies from Skipton were requested last week and he’s going to ring them up to get them released sooner.
Our offer was accepted 23rd July, so within 3 months would be a great outcome!
