I flagged with our solicitor and EA that there's no valid EPC for the house we're purchasing. EA is sorting this out but I'm annoyed that we've gotten this far along ( iming for completion on 10th) without our solicitor noticing, she actually only looked on the GOV EPC site whilst my partner was on the phone to her today. She's been totally incompetent throughout the process and it just makes me wonder what other things she's overlooked!
No exchange date set yet, and solicitor hasn't responded to any questions on transferring deposit etc.0 -

Our enquires are now satisfied for our purchase and our buyers have paid deposit to solicitor so we are essential ready to go. Just waiting on news of the top of the chain who said on Monday about completing within 3 weeks so hopefully they won't hold us up.
We have been spending the day sending emails back and forth to get things sorted.

Still struggling to get the kids into school, had to postpone removals etc but the assistant she passed it off to didn't understand the need for dates and speed.0 -
