Doubtful, I need them to pull their fingers out as I need to get my girls into school, One has ASD and is struggling with it. But I can't get them into school without a council tax bill. 

I can't get my husband into accomodation here until he has proof of ownership.

Im being chased to hand back this house as there is a shortage,I've boxes up the bloody walls and it seems like i'm losing the will.

I’ve got similar challenges for my boys schools. I didn’t realise but the schools accept a letter produced by your solicitor - my EA told me about it. Might be worth getting them to draft something? Apparently it needs to be sent with your MoS as proof of your offer being accepted. Not sure if it applies in all schools but it does for where we are in Yorkshire x

Yep. My solicitor is helpfully on holiday until next week... sales progressor has said they will chase too. I just don't know why on earth it would have to take so long!

What has the EA said? It sounds like the vendor might be wasting time for some reason?

Just said they will chase it. If I hear back that it's the vendors not sending it to their solicitor I will have to query why. However it could just be their solicitor being slow. So frustrating.

Im buying in Liverpool. 

The kids could go and live with my folks until we get the house but with the ASD I know she wont cope.

I am waiting on windows to be fitted, house needs to be ripped out and scrubbed etc and a 200 mile one way trip as well.

I didn’t know I’d need proof for schools!
I need to find two high school places (one son has autism and adhd) and the two year six places too

I don’t think all schools require it but I need to move my son in his final year and ensure his place is ready before we’ve moved. There are a number of factors with my son which mean we need confirmation pre move; seems to be one challenge after another at the moment! 😠 x

I need to obviously get them into the area but the school I want for my ASD child is a special provision, I need proof of address but as the receptionist said 'council tax bill is best' 

So Im stuck !

Oh no
my son will be first year main stream high school hopefully will go ok senco wanted to see how he went in that enviroment
which is nerve wracking on it’s own

which is nerve wracking on it’s own

This is why we have bought in this area, The local school has a special provision for kids like this and they do an enhanced introduction to the high school. 

The kids are already in classes there as they are up for the summer and they are making friends already, I dont want them to have to reintegrate again. They have been on the move since they have been babies 7/8 moves already and been to 4 schools and 4 nurseries between them.
