WorriedKirkels said:@flyingv how long has it taken for you? Really pleased you now having everything you need to progress to exchange/completion x
Thanks @WorriedKirkels Almost 27 weeks...no chain, no complicated circumstances, no onward purchase. Just slow, slow and slow again. Hopefully the end is in sight now (frantically crosses everything!)

@flyingv - I don’t know how you have coped - I would have cracked up by week 16 at the latest! Really have everything crossed for you making it to completion! Good luck x1

Just had some good news! - My buyers had a roofer in to check my roof, because of something that the surveyor had flagged up. The roofer said that it was just a problem of condensation in the roof space which could easily be sorted out by installing some vents. The roof has thick insulation in which had stopped proper air flow,
All the paper work completed their end too, just need my house purchase to catch up now!
Hope everyone else going through this stressful process, gets good news soon!3 -
I was told at the end of last week we would exchange today. But we have not had any contact from solicitor at all. Does this mean it has not happened?0

We’ve had a message from further up the chain saying they’ve til end of august otherwise they’ll remarket. We offered late may and nearly everything is sorted with our purchase. Our buyers solicitor is a couple weeks behind with that but hopefully it won’t delay further.Tbh I do think there’s a little bluffing going on but hey pressure is good for the health right 🙈0

C_N_ said:Hopefully some major progress this week. Solicitors have asked for the forms to get deposit funds from both our LISA's, so just waiting for vendors solicitor to reply to the enquiries and then it's full steam ahead.Hoping as soon as this happens we find out what’s actually going on! We were told they were ready but, we can’t set a date yet until our lisas are ready. Then i get told we can’t do anymore until they give the green light 🤦🏼♀️0

We have exchanged!! Finally! We have been ready for about 6 weeks but the sellers solicitor has just been painfully slow and sending so many mixed messages. We got told on Friday we would exchange monday and then she realised she hadn't sent the final bit to her client. Luckily to got turned round quite quickly and we exchanged at 5.30pm yesterday! 5 1/2 month since offer was made!
