Attempt no 2 at exchange today 🙂 fingers crossed @laura_lau that you get some good news!
Thank you! good luck to you too!
I've already got news! I received a message and an email from the lender literally minutes ago, saying they've released the funds and opened my mortgage account!!
I know the solicitor wanted to at least exchange today and if the funds arrived early enough maybe even complete, so I'm really hopeful now!!
We might be exchanging on the same day! So exciting!
Ah I've got everything crossed for you! I'm just waiting to hear if we've exchanged 🤞

Eeek waiting is the worst. On the bright side we managed to secure a last minute man and van to move the bulkier stuff, we'd planned for my dad to help but he's now isolating due to covid!

After telling us that they only need 2 weeks to find a place to rent, the seller has proposed 20th August for Exchange/Completion. Very annoying considering we told them last week we're looking at exchanging very soon.
  • Has anyone had quotes for removals (without the packing service) for a 3 bed house? Just keen to see what is normal so I don't get overpriced. We haven't got dates yet but I'm hoping they will be set this week!

I'm distracting myself by dismantling wardrobes 🤣 the baby isn't happy about this though lol! My partner is working everyday so I have to pack up a 4-bed by myself 😳😳😳

I have the opposite problem, I'm (trying) to work from home, my partners son is visiting for the Summer and my partner had to pick him up from a different country (he's 14) so now I've got the 2 of them quarantining for 10 days because of the travel, and need to pack our 1-bedroom flat. Definitely feels overcrowded here!
