Anyone else sick to their stomach and wishing the weekend away just to get to Monday & get some answers?

Dreadful might sleep, up at 4am worrying, today has gone on for forever.

I hope to have some good news Monday and for us all. The stamp duty holiday has made everything so much harder, even though there are saving to be had.

i am now at that point of just wanting to move from this holiday let, have someone certainty back in our life as a family, not be thinking constantly about houses/agents/solicitors/chains. It’s exhausting.

Just feel totally in limbo until this is done.

Sorry needed to vent, normally so bubbly and upbeat but I’m broken!!!

    😩😩😩😩

Bounty I totally get this. By the time we did exchange and move in, I literally had nothing left emotionally. I was exhausted and a week later I'm still not really with it!! The constant anxiety and inability to switch off definitely takes its toll. Hopefully you'll be through the other side soon and can start to recover x

Yes exactly this @BountyBlink. It’s so horrible being in such limbo. So sorry you are going through this too. I keep trying to think positive thoughts but not knowing is so nerve wracking and stressful. We can’t do anything til Monday so I’m trying to switch off (in between all the packing) and eating large amounts of chocolate.

I wish you and everyone else positive exchange vibes for Monday!

Wishing you all the best! We've not heard anything from the EA of the sellers since Tuesday - they were waiting to hear from the rentals they'd offered on but completion is set for 28th yet we're waiting to exchange. Thought we'd have an update today but we decided not to call for an update in case they're using the weekend to find more places. Will desperately be chasing on Monday AM and pushing our conveyancers to chase theirs too!

Horrible nights sleep last night, foul mood today - just want an answer! Fingers crossed for Monday!!

Oh you poor thing, really feel for you, it’s just horrible xxx
  • I feel similar @BountyBlink all though admittedly I have less money to lose as I’m not affected by the stamp duty holiday. But I did the thing everyone told me not to do and gave in my rental notice and am now having a a panic I’ll be homeless if it goes wrong
