You don’t need to know how long if you need to remortgage as your conveyancer should be requesting expedition to get it looked at in time

The wait time shouldn’t matter for a buyer in real terms unless there’s an urgency. Hence the request expedition option when it’s really needed

Hi, thanks for your reply. The application was approved on Friday 24th, however my solicitor informed me that she had asked for a restriction to be removed and the land registry hasn’t done this. She said she ask that they do this as a priority as the whole reason we needed to expedite was to complete our sale by the 4th July due to becoming homeless. We are still stuck unable to sell until the error has been rectified. Please can you help. Title number man401986 

I can see that the application was completed on the 24th but nothing further as yet. I’ll see if colleagues can track down their request but if you are speaking to your solicitor please ask them for the enquiry reference they will have been given in response

I can’t be definitive other than asap as not within our gift via this forum.

We replied to the conveyancer yesterday to explain matters but there still seems to be a disconnect as they’ve replied to query again. I’ve asked colleagues to respond again asap. 

We’ve managed to connect the dots with the conveyancer and are now checking to see if we can amend the title without any wider checks 
Unfortunately it’s not a simple matter to amend but colleagues are aware of the urgency. I’ll post again when I have more to share 

The application has been completed and the register updated. The register is now available to view online so hopefully matters can move forward quickly for you

I can see that the application was completed on the 24th but nothing further as yet. I’ll see if colleagues can track down their request but if you are speaking to your solicitor please ask them for the enquiry reference they will have been given in response

That reference refers to an enquiry suggesting that the leasehold tenure should have been closed. It doesn’t refer to an issue with the restriction. So something is still not matching up. 

The enquiry is with our amends team so they will consider and respond asap. I’ll flag it with them as well

My solictor requested to expedite the land registry and the application was approved on the 8th June. I have waited 10 days and there is no update. I have contacted the land registry and they said it hasn’t been looked at yet. They haven’t issued an email to say why it has not been processed within the time frame or how long it will take. 

It is putting my sale and onward purchase at risk and will also cause financial hardship. 

I have emailed them myself tonight and provided evidence and asked that the expedite is prioritised. 

Any advice on how long this will take

Hi, thanks for your reply. The application was approved on Friday 24th, however my solicitor informed me that she had asked for a restriction to be removed and the land registry hasn’t done this. She said she ask that they do this as a priority as the whole reason we needed to expedite was to complete our sale by the 4th July due to becoming homeless. We are still stuck unable to sell until the error has been rectified. Please can you help. Title number man401986

Ok thanks for your reply, how long does this take to resolve as we have to move out of our home by Monday 4th July, this was the reason it was expedited as we will be homeless. 

I can’t be definitive other than asap as not within our gift via this forum. 

Are you able to provide an update on this as I am still waiting and I am going to be homeless on the 3rd of July 

We replied to the conveyancer yesterday to explain matters but there still seems to be a disconnect as they’ve replied to query again. I’ve asked colleagues to respond again asap.

Waiting for an expedited first registration, it was applied for by my sellers solicitors on 17th June, I don't have the application number or title ref but was wondering if this will show online as soon as its completed or whether online updates are processed in slower time, I keep checking online it always shows "No information held for..."
