  • Hi Land Registery,

Can you give me an update on D206SLS? Trying to get through to my solicitor is impossible at the moment.
From what I have heard so far the application has went through (NAP  and others docs have been sent to the resigtered owners) and the the land I am applying for should be in my name by August providing there are no objections.

    Thanks
Correct - objection notices expire 5th August.

Thanks for the reply, much quicker than getting through to my solicitor.

One more thing, this is currently holding up the sale of my house. Come the 5th August is my solicitor then in a position to be able to transfer the title from myself to the new owners when required? There is no extra admin etc relating to this?

The registered owners have passed away we believe and the garage was missed by my solicitors when I bought the house, so there shouldn’t be any objections to this.

    Thanks

Any objections should be received by 5th. If none submitted then matters usually conclude within 2/3 days of expiry. But it’s a manual process so we can’t be definitive re timescales and nor I suspect would your solicitor be re next steps

That's great thank you very much. Both parties need to complete before mid Sept so good to hear it shouldnt be a problem.
  • Hi, I am buying a house that has a pending application on the title (I have the title number) that was submitted 06/04/2022. My conveyancer has no information about this so can't give me an estimate for how long this might take as it is not listed in the Land Registry portal. I've tried to reach out to the vendor via the estate agent, but no luck on that front yet.

If I supply the title number are you able to give me more detail?

    Fantastic, title number is: ND190973.

I managed to speak to my
conveyancer yesterday and she has asked the solicitor that raised the pending application to expedite the case, but I'm not sure if this has happened or not, maybe you could tell me this as well please.

Lodged 6th April and waiting to be processed. No request to expedite as yet it seems.

Thanks. Are you able to give me an estimated timeframe for this type of change if not expedited?

  • Hi, I am looking to purchase a house that was sold last year with a first registration of the title and transfer to the new owners at that time (I don't know the exact date yet). The registration & transfer hasn't appeared on the on-line system yet.

Will it be possible to get that on-going transaction fast-tracked?
