Land Registry questions

10 years ago I separated from my partner and agreed to sign over my share of our property. A land registry charge was added so that if she ever sold it I would get a share of the proceeds. At this time it was my only property.
The property has now been sold and I received 30k from the sale. Is this money subject to capital gains tax? I currently have a mortgaged property which I own with my wife.0 -

We don't deal with CGT I'm afraid so can't advise. I'd suggest trying HMRC or checking elsewhere on MSE for other threads on CGT to see if someone can help“Official Company Representative

Has any one been through right of way release, we have sold a house our buyer will not move forward until the right of way has been removed.
We have got neighbour to agree and have accepted an offer made to her. It has now gone to her lender for approval or to grant it.
How long does this take?
Costs
Any information will be great.

We would not be aware of how long a lender might take to agree or at what cost.
From a registration perspective an application to register a deed of release would take on average 9 working days between receipt and consideration. The registration fee wold be £40 to register it against both titles.“Official Company Representative

JJA80. Are you able to tell me if Highways has contacted you and withdrawn their objection? My solicitor says she’s unable to contact them as they are effectively your client.0

Hi - we have recently been approached by a company claiming to be acting for the liquidators of the builders who built our house more than 30 years ago. They produced a Land Registry map they say indicates a tiny sliver of land, now part of our garden, was still owned be the builder and asking us to purchase the land. I have downloaded the title and map from the Land Registry, but this seems to differ from the BETA Mapsearch plan they sent us. The plot scales are difficult to interpret and I am not able to get my own copy of this plan because the service is only available to businesses. Has anyone else come across this and would a piece of land like this be worth anything - it couldn't possibly be of any use to anyone? Is there a way to correct what was clearly an error in the land titles when the property was first built?
Many thanks0 -

Practice Guide 4 details adverse possession of registered land.
I'm assuming it's registered if the builder owned it.0 -
Many thanks Sally will look into it.0

Does anyone know how long the BETA Mapsearch facility has been available through the Land Registry and whether ordinary people can have access to the same information?
Thanks0
