Oh yes, and when I was selling mainly sci fi stuff a chap started emailing me a lot and saying how great it was for a woman to like sci fi, and would I be his girlfriend please
I sell video games and merchandise, and i've had that a lot as well, also get it online, as soon as the lads hear a female gamer, someone proposes, its funny!
eyelinerprincess - someone was wearing a top similar to that at the gay pride march in london last year - with chain mail over it, wonder if it was the same guy?~*Cerenia*~

Anyhow, the card turned up for her to collect it from the PO. So, she emptied the boot, told her son that they were going to get his toy cart for the back garden..............................then the guy in the sorting office brought out a tiny wee package. Yup, she'd bought one for a doll's house!!! In retrospect if you look at the picture of the item on ebay, you can actually see that the skirting board is bigger than it!!
Another mate of mine bought a lovely pair of size 7 adidas trainers. 'cept they were a child's size 7!
Reminds me of hubbys friend at work. His wife wanted an old fashioned hat/umbrella stand. Bought one off e-bay, cleared space for it and when it arrived was for a dolls house:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

My best experience on Ebay was buying a fully kitted up aquarium, pump, light, heater, gravel etc and two days later another exactly the same turned up. Emailed the seller, got no response so sold it on for a tidy profit! He He!!!0

I sold a wheezy cuddly penguin from toy story on ebay and the buyer was in America.
3 weeks later, I recieved an email with email attachments from the buyer.. they had taken wheezy to disneyland and had taken loads of random pictures of him with Mickey.. on rides.. sat by the log fire !! Was absolutely hilarious - and a little strange ! haha !!

The funniest ebay story I've read on here was this one:-
Buyer bought a bus, paid in cash, drove it then brought it back

and the follow up thread:-

Well - so much for my early night - I have just sat and read both of these links. Thankfully a happy ending after nearly a year of hassle!
Sadly I dont have any great detailed stories to tell! Great thread BTW OP. :THi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
I once bought a CD from a newby seller, that was a while ago, before I started using paypal and always paid by cheque. Within a day or two of winning the bid and before I had sent out payment, my CD arrived and they left positive feedback. I did send payment of course, but sent them a nice little email to explain, not everybody on ebay is as honest as me and some might not have bothered to pay him and he should wait for cleared payment before sending out the goods.0
