As above Google anything you do not know , but bear in mind that the MCOL website has extensive advice on these processes
  • Thanks again. For anyone struggling to just 'click' the relationship button that relates to you, It turns out you need to put x's over the other field options, leaving just 'defendant'clear.
  • Here's an update:
I've followed all 10 points in the 'filing your defence' thread from Coupon Mad and have now received a DQ form from the claimant (sent from BW Legal).
They say they have been instructed to proceed with the claim in which they hope to award their client a CCJ against me for the balance.
It then goes on to mention mediation services offered which I have not ticked on my DQ form.
Lastly, there is a final plea for me to resolve this by paying up.
I guess I just now wait my day in court right?

Hey Ralph, here's exactly what they said:

We have now made numerous attempts to contact you prior to issuing court proceedings to try and resolve matters on amicable terms. Unfortunately, a settlement has yet to be achieved and having received and reviewed your defence, we have been instructed to proceed with our client's claim against you which may result in a final hearing in which we will ask the court to award our client a COUNTY COURT JUDGEMENT against you for  the full balance outstanding.

Don't fill out anything you get from the scamlicitors. Either wait for the court to send one or better still, download your own DQ, fill it in online, then print it and sign it and send that to the court. If you wait, don't wait too long as someone never received theirs and got a default judgement against them!

No.  The most important evidence exchange hasn't happened yet.  You need to read the hearing letter (when you get it) for that deadline, about WS an evidence.   The NEWBIES thread tells you 'defence is not your only job' and nor was that DQ form.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Thanks Fruitcake.
Yeah, I sent the DQ myself weeks ago and also sent a copy to BW Legal.
It shows that my DQ has been received by the court on the MCOL website.

"COUNTY COURT JUDGEMENT"  -  is that a copy and paste of the actual words the SOLICITOR used for the spelling of "Judgment"?.
