....Can I give him the long number? ...Can I remember the three digits on the back? ...Expiry date? ...Do you think the dentist would wait for payment? ...Can I screenshot a statement?

No. No. No. No and no. Having a spot of bother? Good. Will teach you to socialise with prats. Honestly! The bloke is a complete twonk. As is my DH for letting him do it.

Could I pay the bill? What!?!?!

    N. O.

Bathroom completed. Small said it smelled like the swimming pool. (I'll admit to a touch of bleach).

Went back in ten minutes later to find a toilet roll and various small plastic bath toys in the pan, a pair of wet toddler pants on the floor (nice :naughty: - Tiny is not getting this potty training lark at all) and two-thirds of my mango shower gel decorating the bath.

So, in a bid not to throttle Tiny, I got the boys to make chocolate chip muffins with me. Kitchen is now Ground Zero. _pale_

I have six more weeks of this. Kill me now.

    Thank you Honeybear :D

I used to follow this thread years ago but then full time work and family life got in the way as it does ;)I am a widow and am living alone for the first time as my children have all now moved out. I'm also a mature university student and work part time at the weekends. I'm fine with the cooking for one but am struggling to find the motivation to catch up on the cleaning and ironing. I've also had a spell of busyiness, I had a nasty abscess, the cat had emergency surgery for a prolapse and I worked for 14 days straight to cover for holidays. All in all the house has been 'top tidied' and cleaned for about 8 weeks and I don't like it!

Looking forward to getting to know you all :)

Wall painted, and I hopefully have enough paint to touch up once new boiler is in as I know it will be a different size.
Need to s&s the kitchen now, it really needs a good going over as it looks me a dumping ground -this working full time lark as really highlighted how good the house used to look when I followed the thread and the lists properly.

My vote is kitchen as well Valli I'd like to get that tidy before boiler man comes and I'm already planning to start by putting oven cleaner on tonight
All other rooms have really been trashed as everything has had to be moved away from radiators.

Dizzy Ohs friend is a twonk...hope he gets it sorted out

Also going to start getting rid of 5 items a day...dont care what or where from or to so long as it leaves my house...so 3 hoodies of LOs decluttered to DD1s she will sell them and it helps to buy clothes for the grandaughters
1 box of half used strawberry milkshake in bin ...been open ages and no one likes it
1 deodorant in bin as it has given me a rash ,

On a mission to use up some food stuff..we have tons but still spend upwards of £100 a week plus visits to aldi and lidl when needed.

OH wanted to go to Aldi today to get uncut bread to go with the lasagne I have made for tea....I made a loaf in bread machine instead

He complained we had no sweet stuff in...cue chocolate cake now in BM..and have stewed some apples and blackberries to go on ice cream.

If we had gone to Aldi we would have spent at least £40 on stuff...we dont need anymore stuff!!!!!

Have stripped washed and remade DS2s bed ...daily job at the moment....wish he was like a snake and could shed in one place.

Cats tablet given...monster tried to bite me

I didn't get round to doing the bathroom or listing bits on ebay :o

I have however line-dried some washing; done half an hour of weeding the garden with the kids "help", batch cooked a chilli, had two conversations on the phone and meal planned for the rest of the week. Other than £2 in the charity shop not spent any money either :j

My oven is grim. I normally pay someone to clean it :o:o:o but am determined to do it myself this time. Any suggestions on the best cleaner? And the best way to clean the shelves? They are minging. I recall soaking them in a bath in something?

Kiddies eating dinner then it's bathtime. Will at least photograph ebay stuff when I go upstairs :p
