    Sitting down with a cuppa.

Bathroom nearly done, just waiting for bleach to do it's thang then I can rinse and shine.

DH just messaged to say his bill for the dentist will be just shy of £3K tomorrow. Was budgeted for and room on his credit card, so in theory no issue..

Except an utter idiot of a "friend" decided to eat - yes, eat  - said card at the curry house in a [STRIKE]morons[/STRIKE]' boys' night out on Friday and the replacement card requested hasn't arrived yet. Do you know, that bloke is just sooo funny  DH can sort that out as I'm not paying.

I may well be married to a snaggle-toothed monster a while longer.

Perhaps it might reach him a lesson, but I doubt it.

Dizzy words fail me  I presume this was a grown man?!

Also sat with a brew. We have been to the post office to send my old phone to Music Magpie - £50 better off :money:

Also taken a bootful of stuff to the charity shop and only came away with two games and a transformer so not too bad! Called at the park on the way home but it was very chilly so we didn't stay long.

Will have some lunch then crack on with the bathroom and list a couple of bits for sale.

Bleurgh. I seem to have crashed again, just can't seem to shake this blinkin bug off. Meh.

So not a lot happening here and I'm determined to rest it out. I've emptied DW and reloaded with breakfast stuff. Located kids passports and put spending € in purses for them. Piled some craft supplies into a bigger box to avoid overflowing lol.

    And that's it!

Oh, I have my planner to look at next week and keeping busy. Hmm. If this bl00dy bug would just do one...

Bluddy hell Dizzy - your life just gets better and better! :rotfl:I sure would love to know exactly how that scenario went down; could you perhaps write it up as a screenplay and sell it to a Hollywood director for use in their next lads-running-amok type movie? :rotfl:You never know, it might pay enough to cover DH's dentist bill! :D

Bossy sounds like you have what I had. Took me over 3 weeks to feel better - I was literally doing school run then sleeping most of the day until pick up time.

Salt gargles helped loads, as did sleeping propped slightly upright xx

Still to do but it's a quick month, August, not much going on

It's been a while since I did that much of a list, and I will admit it was only the shower room (and I don't do bleach) but it was all sparkly by the time new lodger arrived, plus I'd
    • turned two bedrooms around. Boy did the superking need dusting - yikes,
    • dysoned the ground floor, lower stairs and passage to the shower room,
    • lodger in and back out again to work,
    • WMx4 and all pegged out,
    • said yes to going out to dinner (yay!),
    • swept the kitchen floor as well, and
    • washed up the last of the birdfood boxes and scrubbed out a bird feeder and the cat litter tray the seagulls still visit to have a bit of a wash and a drink.
Must get on with the minutes of a meeting two weeks ago, now that I've decided to leave out all the detail. If they want more they can ask for it.

More *healing vibes* for you Bossy.

I'd give a lot of money to have half your energy JojoTT'f'ed!

 to people to eat credit cards. I hope it gave him indigestion, Dizzy.
    Better is good enough.
