Friday OS thread 5th Oct 07

Sorry to come on just because my day is being a bit not nice....

DH is going sailing this weekend, he arrived home early saying he was going this afternoon at 4 - because the weather is nice they will make an early start tomorrow. As it is his mate's boat there's not much he can say.

So, went to see mum in the home, she's been in good form for the past few visits, but today she was very unhappy, crying all the time, very confused.

Got home and sat down to have a cuppa and the dog had a fit! Rushed him to the vet who said if he has another get him over there asap and to give him some sugar.

Hadn't the heart to ask DH not to go, he works so hard for us and this year he has only been able to go once, but I feel really fed up!

Hugs to all with the thread cold - just wish the weather would make up it's mind - was lovely and warm here today - just never know what to put on.

Went to Mr T's this morning - came in under budget at £41.61 :j That included a bottle of wine for this evening and DH and I are having one of those weeks and need a bit of a chat. :rolleyes: ( I also got a couple of xmas pressies in that total too thanks to a bogof offer on an item on both DDs lists)

Got jacket pots in the oven for dinner - they smell yummy - was going to be industrious and get something elsein the oven at the same time but really couldn't be a*sed

I'm still here. I had a PM after posting earlier telling me to "quit moaning about being ill all the time-nobodys interested!" So I deleted the post and wont post about my health anymore. Please accept my apologies for going on about it and will stick to OS only from now on. I only wanted/needed a hug and get ridiculed instead.

Hi everyone.

Congratulations Catowen on your piggypoints. They're a bit tight with their points at the moment so I'm glad that you've got a few extra!
I found out today that we're getting OFSTEDed next week for 2 days :eek: so I'm feeling a little dazed and I can't stop eating cakes and biscuits (comfort food). Our last inspection was 3 years ago and went really well, so I'm worried that they'll be looking for faults etc I've been through 3 OFSTED inspections and it feels a bit like you're on your driving test ALL day! :eek: Oh well, roll on next Friday and then I'll jump for joy.

Oh my god.....

Pennypincher..... ignore whoever it was....they are obviously spineless, as well as heartless and ignorant... for crying out loud..we all come on here to OS,but part of that is looking out for each other, picking each of us up when we are down....
Heck i have been moaning about bl**dy toothache for the last couple of days!!!
