    Morning gang.

Thought I'd pop on here whilst I'm waiting for the emergence of Miss Twit from her black hole of a bedroom.

Shez....stop that stinking thinking right now. People think our house is derelict when they drive past and I certainly agree with Hester, that no one wishes they had done more housework when they go!

Mrs Mc, good luck at the dentist, hope you get it sorted.

Today, I have some banking to do and 2 kilos of mince in the fridge that needs something creative doing with it....Maybe I should hold a phone in for suggestions. Obviously the first prize will go to one of my research staff behind the scenes. :rotfl:

Hugs to those in need .

Downside today is that the dog has chewed a hole in the carpet at the bottom of the stairs, I do hate the carpet - Royal Blue which shows up everything - but wont be replacing it for sometime as have a lot more building work to do here. Not sure what to do, it looks terrible and cant exactly put a rug over it?
Any chance your insurance would cover it ?

I have been roped in to running dd school book fair for the next 5 days and also reading to some of the kids on a regular basis, and dh has been asked to run ds2+3 school footy team!!! Arhh so much to remember LOL.
Also need to pick some tiles up as dh has a new project making toppers for the bricks outside but has decided to make mosiac things????
Need to stock tuck shop up and pick up some food shopping needed for weekend.

    Morning all

    Kitchen Watch
Big day today as its old kitchen out new kitchen in day:j (well week probably!!)

Hopefully lots more men in shorts will be arriving very soon (its lovely blue sky here so they may all be visually conned into thinking its 90 degrees despite it actually being nearer 9 :D)

The best thing though is that my [STRIKE]skoda with a sun roof [/STRIKE]skip has just arrived and is on the drive awaiting rubbish - now I know its really there for the old kitchen but there is something about skips that has me running around the house wondering what I can throw away:o

Deffo no "fancy dinner" cooking for me today as I wont have an oven - ;) phew thats a relief then - sounds like a good excuse for a Friday chippy tea to me:j Also not much else can go on either as the house is completely covered in a fine film of plaster so until they are gone theres not a lot of point in doing anything other than monitor the [STRIKE]legs [/STRIKE]progress

Have a great day all and take care all those with colds

    Morning all...again :D

Back from dentist safe n sound -if feeling somewhat like popeye:p ....thought id get away with an xray and some antibiotics.... ..oh noooo.... seems that when i had my bridge done the dentist left the nerve in one of the teeth...well it aint there anymore:eek: .... lovely dentist decided to drill through the back of my bridge...well he wasn't taking it out..it cost £900:eek: .... has taken away the nerve, packed it temporarily and in a month will unpack it..finish drilling it and fill it  ... have a 90min appointment...heck knows what else he is planning on doing.still i can't complain as to have all that done, plus a proper clean and the work he did today and antibiotics and painkillers is going to cost roughly £45 :T ...which is a whole lot cheaper than back home:T ....So im back and at least its being dealt with...good job dentists don't bother me...would rather go there than go to the hairdressers :rotfl: ...anyway im sat here pain free as the anasthetic hasn't worn off yet:D ...and have taken painkillers ready for when it does;)

    So back to the OS....

Going to put the laundry away... hubby has got it as far as the spare bedroom...but didn't quite get it into the drawers/wardrobes.... going to have a gentle poddle round with the vaccume... and then sit and x stitch :T ... dinner is sorted.....left over veggies/pots/HM stuffing from last night will be bubble n squeaked mmmm not only yummy but easy to eat :T oh and HM sausages are out of the freezer....so thats that done with..
Not been shopping this week :j what with leg and teeth as they are.. still we have most of what we need.... may have to get to Aldi just for my yoghurt supply....only have 2 left  ..and they are going down rather well at the moment....particularly the peach n raspberry and the strawberry n rhubarb mmmm!!!still im sure hubby will consider himself lucky as its only a wee place and i can leave him in the car :D

Well i hope you all have a good day today..
Hugs to all those in need:D

    Good Morning All

catowen - hope your feeling better soon
n9eav - glad the hamster is ok
MW - well done on the weight loss
dogrose - at least they offered you an alternate, rather than a sorry and here's your money back!
Hester - I missed the thread y-day. But I do have to agree with you re the housework. My thoughts exactly!
    (((hugs))) GB, hope your ok!
twink - say hi to kyle for me next time she rings! And wish her a fantastic holiday from me! She deserves the break!
dlb - my word - you are late this morning. How was parents evening last night?

Its lovely sunshine here today again! Hope it continues into the week end, as OH plans to do car boot Sat & Sun.

Had a stress day again yesterday, you know those days when you have a strop and can take the whole world on - well that was me! It didnt help still having problems with DS. But after his parents evening last night, I can see that its a different ball game all together. He is really settling in, making an effort, very enthusiastic, its just others seeing him as an easy target to distract, and he's the one who ends up in trouble.

Off to the East Midlands outlet centre today after work (mcarthur glen jnc29 m1) Not been there for ages.
Got plenty of washing to go through tonight/wk end.
anyway, time's getting on, must get ready for work.
    Have a lovely day
    Love Emma xxx
