I would fold it with some spare bubble wrap to cushion the folds and stop it getting crushed. HTHIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0

Pickle pot, big hugs and yes, Kondoi will give you the feeling of control when everything else is going haywire, and help you to keep calm.
My bedroom had ended up a bit of a dumping ground - all craft stuff - although other rooms are mostly clear. Yesterday I had a real push, put some stuff away and released a UFO that had never even been started. This morning I got out of bed and the floor was all clear - I can't tell you what that did to my spirits!Life is mainly froth and bubble: two things stand like stone. Kindness in another’s trouble, courage in your own.0 -
I got a new address book and calendar yesterday so I have updated them both and thrown away the old ones. So nothing really went out of the house as they were just replaced with something better.:rotfl:0

Lara, i find it difficult to describe but there are some good vids on uTube. Try to fold it so the end shape is a neat oblong. Wrap flat then parcel up into outer, waterproof packing (eg, re-use bag from something you may have ordered online). I always cut down any big bags and use parcel tape to secure, to reduce folds and prevent possibilty that it catches in sorting office machinery.
HTHI have changed my work-life balance to a life-work balance.0 -

I eventually decided last night to place tissue paper in between the folds and then rolled up with tissue paper on the outside, came down this morning, unrolled it and it's perfect. Shall post today before it decides to crease! Lol0 -
I am going to find the next wardrobe KM quite easy from today. I have been doing a lot of sewing and my garments from choice are now the things I have made eg good quality linen/cotton or french terry instead of the tops I bought multiples of because thet were cheap via an online store.
I cannot stand this shiny polyester/slinky stuff and as well as that I am looking at all my t shirts and polo tops one by one, my next KM job, when I change the seasonal clothes. I have started wearing some things which I had for `best` but never worn eg a lovely boiled wool sleeveless cardi type, they look too smart for every day wear but what the heck, boiled wool is lovely and warm and it made a great layering top this morning when I went out
I am getting my priorities sorted re clothing0 -
I am getting my priorities sorted re clothing
Yep, me too. Dropping off DS at uni in inner city Liverpool at the weekend i felt very odd - almost every other woman in the city, of whatever age, had dressed as though they were going to Ascot. Surely there can't have been that many weddings / race meetings on? Even other mums i saw in halls were 'dolled up to the nines'.
I was wearing jeans, long sleeved t-shirt and DMs. BUT, whilst i did feel a bit 'different', i was extremely comfortable with myself.
My wardrobe is now tiny, only a few colours (i'm a warm autumn colour wise, so wear navy, red, dark green, purple etc) and all of a similar style.
if i dressed in a figure hugging frock, strappy heels and a 'thing' plonked on my head:
1. my family would think i'd gone nuts
2. i'd feel extremely uncomfortable
3. I'd probably turn an ankle..
(just for clarity, I am not really criticising those who dress like that - if that's what they like. I am a staunch advocate of being and doing what / who you want to be. it's just not 'my' look)I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
Picklepot - hugs

Thank you to everyone for their baking advice. The gannets at work will have to change species and become guinea pigs, but they won't mind!
Hugs, Picklepot.
Could Invasion of the OH Bodysnatchers be sent this way, please? Could the duplicate not snore, pretty please?0
