Took my tree down today, the Dec's were already down and bagged up. I decided the tree was too heavy now I don't have hubby to lift it back on top the eaves in the garage, (it's 7 ft tall). So I'm leaving the box to one side on the floor , the 3 bags with lights ,wreath, and decs in have been put back on eaves.

I have thrown a wreath and a few Dec's away, also a large cardboard box, as I rearranged the Dec's and found a small pretty box, that some toiletries came in, for them.
The leather armchair is still in the garage, as I need a lift with it. I would prefer not to bring it back in, but it's needed, and there's not much wrong with it, I would just prefer something smaller. But I can't justify it.

Dd2 got me some sanctuary stuff for Xmas, I asked just for the body lotion, but she got me a gift set, I have loads of shower gel and bath stuff that will take ages to use, if I want to use it for hand wash is it best to dilute with water or will it not mix well??

I bought some new reusable bags so I will get rid of the old plastic bags in my next Ocado order as they exchange and recycle. I am going to ask them not to bring plastic bags as well as I keep forgetting to do tick the box when I make an order! The only thing is that I feel guilty about the delivery driver as it will obviously take longer without bags.

    )

Ooh, wednesday2000, I haven't spotted the tick box, is it on the website? Or can I access it from the app?

    Thanks S X

Been doing the culling of the too small/ no longer wear with the kids. I have to confess that I have a drawer of things that are two sizes to small, clothes i really like and once I've been on the diet will lovingly wear. However, they have now been in said drawer for over a year as the diet never started. I am split three ways.

    1. keep them as a motivator
    2. keep half
    3. get rid.

I am leaning towards no 2.

tibawo, what I did / am doing with my 'too small yet' clothes is as follows:

I tried all of them on. Sorted them into 3 categories, will fit very soon, will fit soon and will fit in a good while !
I then stored them appropriately, ie, the ones to come into use soonest were in second-to-bottom drawer of COD, the next smallest were in the bottom drawer and the 'smallest that won't fit for a while' are in the underbed drawer.

    Er, does that make sense?

When I know I have lost significant weight I re-visit the drawers and re-try.

I do not feel I am using the smaller clothes as a motivator (that may demoralise me because inevitably quite a few won't fit for ages!). I keep the ones I love and simply move into them as the weight drops. I have avoided trying them on until I am pretty sure they will fit, again, to avoid being demoralised.
I lost 3 stone over the course of 20 months but I put on half a stone in 6 weeks when i ate very badly whilst hospital visiting away from home. I shall lose this weight and continue the reduction, another 2 stone to go. Yes, I was annoyed at the gain but resigned to the situation. No good getting down about it, I can shift it in 6 weeks!

Whatever you do, as with accumulating clutter and then shedding it, do not beat yourself up about the accumulation, just enjoy the road to reduction! xx
I have changed my work-life balance to a life-work balance.

I wanted to switch to loose leaf green tea, but I decided I won't buy any until my stash of boxed tea is used up. I realised I have 10 boxes of herbal tea! Ridiculous.

I just had some Rooibos tea now.:)

I'm going to use the old flannels I found yesterday to clean the front downstairs windows and the front door as I haven't done that for a while. I blame Christmas!:D

I have used up one of my moisturisers already as it was nearly at the end. Not really to do with KM, but I was thinking of switching to clear mascara as I hate cleaning black mascara off at night. I would love to have a few good quality beauty products instead of random stuff that I don't really like.

Oh, I've never used the app. I'm sure most online supermarkets have a tick box to let you shop without bags, but I keep forgetting to tick it.

Like others have said, use it neat :) What I do is use the runniest stuff I have for handwash bottles (which might not be Sanctuary in my experience) and I also try to target older stuff first. I've even been known to use bath/ shower stuff for washing - very, very diluted and not on a wash cycle which has low water
