    Morning all

I still seem to be running to catch up with everything.

Saturday was fab - Joseph was fantastic - the new young lead’s voice was amazing and well Jason as Pharaoh, yes we was in a loin cloth. Kind of liked Sheridan Smith as the narrator.

Dad was very generous and insisted on paying for all refreshments, coffee, lunch and supper.

I made it to the Apple shop, and really hoping it’s just my screen that’s gone, apparently there is a fault on this screen, and potentially will get this repaired free of charge.... I am now lap top less for at least 8 days.

The only pennies spent was a CD and a bottle of water - well and the tickets but these we got last year and we had two carers tickets free.

    Yesterday

Was rather a slow day, we did have to collect the car from the other station... long story about wheelchairs and accessibility.

I finished my Waking the Dead series binge.... no more, I will miss Peter, Grace, Spencer and Eve.

Did do some domestic chores, so we are heading towards a tidy house before the cat sitter arrives.

    Today

    1. Need to go and sort a debtor out at the charity. - hate it when the records show it as unpaid and the person shows it has

    2. Drop of a rag bag and collect dry cleaning completed and wen5 to Marks for lunch

    3. Drive to Dads and start the mammoth downsizing task..... achieved although I found it very draining mentally and physically.DP kept biting my head off / snapping... and at one point told me I treated him as a 2 year old, usually when I made a comment/suggestion he did not like

    4. SW weigh in on way home put on a pound sigh, plus it was woman of the year, kind of thing I always feel left out of

    5. Go visit new kitten Master H on the way home this was a joyful half hour in otherwise miserable day

    6. Collapse in front of double bill casualty achieved

Yes Beanie, We have been thinking about it for quite a long time as the younger Catt adores the older cat who as you know is getting rather aged.

We have both decided that yet again we would go for another British shorthair rather than a rescue cat that this would cost pennies so we have been putting it off for quite awhile.

When OH sailing holiday went wrong and it was cancelled, he decided to use his refund to buy kitten no 3. The breeder had a kitten who hadn’t been pedigree registered and has let us have him for a very reasonable cost. We could have had him at the end of a July, but the person who cat sits / house sits didn’t want the responsibility. Hence we are collecting him the day we return from Cumbria early Seoptember.

Last night was to go and meet him - had cuddles and to pay a deposit. He is absolutely gorgeous.....

It is as my vet acknowledged succession planning, we hope though the beloved aged C will approve

    Morning all

After yesterday I’m still in bed, woke up at 5.30am - thanks dear bladder, struggled to go off again, and was woke pin at 8 still fast asleep. So have rearranged my day, well swapped tomorrow’s activities to today.

I really don’t want to get out of bed, but the cleaner is appearing soon, and I need to move and tidy stuff.

So the two major activities are:

    1. Empty guest room, of all the material that I bought home from the prop loft sort and rehome. This has been in there for weeks because I couldn’t face doing it but now D day has arrived as the room has got to be made up for the cat sitter arriving on Friday. nearly empty - need to finish to inhabit Friday lunchtime

    2. sort garage so that all the stuff from the guestroom and all the stuff from the car can actually get in the garage we can move - spent most of the day in there and decluttered a lot - but lots more to do,

3.empty the estate car from yesterday which is absolutely full to the brim of stuff from my dad’s. Some of it is for keeping the other stuff is for distributing in charity shops, Battersea cats home et cetera. started but still to finish and its pouring with rain.

4.going to the village to drop some stuff off and hopefully make an appointment to get my grey hairs removed before my holiday but this may be wishful thinking didnt achieve it yesterday - managed to do it today

5.host the horticultural meeting tonight - achieved - more things on my to do list

Have to say none of this I have any motivation to do it is definitely as Beanielou would say very plodding get on with it day.
