Oh dear @debtfreeoneday - I can only apologise. I'd like to say it's usually more civilised on here... but that would just be lying 😂
Welcome and thanks for popping in.

Next Baby Steps
I've continued my recovery strategy and am at least managing to keep the kitchen tidy and cook some decent meals. You'll be glad to know that pants and socks are being worn too 🤭 Yesterday's and today's baby steps were:- another load of washing and drying done
- made Carrot & Parsnip Soup with buttered rolls for lunch (using veg box produce)
- made Roasted Cauliflower & Goats Cheese Bake which we had with roast potatoes and baked cod (using veg box produce)
- both meals stretched to cover today as well but I swopped roast potatoes for parmentier
- paid Mr F's tax bill and looked into his tax code. It's a bit suspicious and I think his employer has put the wrong company car benefit on his P11d. I think they've put down the amount for a non-European standard compliant car when it is compliant and, therefore, attracts less tax. Mr F will have to find out who to speak to at his company (which should be straight forward but never is) and, if I'm right, we'll have to write to HMRC to get it put right. Oh joy 😣
I'm keen to go on to the next stage in my recovery plan so will go for a walk with Mr F and FDawg tomorrow morning. We're only walking him around the field at the moment as we're a bit worried about the doggie virus that's going around (the Younger Fortunate's pup got it and was extremely poorly). So I'll be close to home if I start struggling. And I want to push the vaccum round as it's getting very messy around here but can do that gradually and rest if I need to.
I bought a Tai Chi DVD today from the Bay. As I can't do yoga or belly dancing at the moment, I though Tai Chi might be a gentle way of getting some mobillity back. That will probably be for Recovery Stage 3 though as walking and leaving the house might be enough for this week.
Off for a hot bath now. I've some new bubbles to try - Passion Fruit & Ginger Lily.
Happy Friday all.

Hope you recover soon. Sounds like it is still really painful for you.

Why is it even the thought of HMRC makes me want to lie down in a darkened room?
