All better now thank goodness, first thing this morning we contacted another local firm of removers and they can fit us in, slightly more expensive than the ones who let us down yesterday but a small price to pay for the resulting lack of worry! These guys will pick up the home on the 29th and deliver at the other end on the 30th which gives me time to go through the house when it's empty with the duster and vacuum cleaner and we've got a hotel booked for 1 night at the other end while our bed catches up with us the next day. We'll take possession of the house up there on the 29th and be there on the 30th in good time for their arrival. They leave here at 6.30 in the morning so should be with us mid morning. Thank you for being you yesterday and for all the love I know came my way, I'm mightily appreciative of all of you, no one could ask for better friends and a better little kingdom to hang out in, bless you all xxx.

That is good news Lyn, you can rest easy now and wait for everything to fall into place, and HWK can become the laid back person you know and love.


It is a lovely day here, sun is shining, and thankfully at the moment not too hot. Didn't sleep well at all last night it was so muggy, but it is fresher now.


We popped to the SM for a few bits, looked at shirts for Himself in M&S, and then came home and ordered a few things for him on line. I suppose because it is coming to the end of summer fashion they had nothing in his size that he liked, and then lots of moans when he found out what everything cost. It must be years since he had new shirts and polo shirts, last year was spent buying sweaters and warm clothing because he feels the cold so much on these blood thinning tablets.


A quiet day for tomorrow planned unless someone exciting knocks on the door!!

Still not feeling particularly brilliant with this blooming sinus thing, I did get out this morning to watch my nephew play football and it was lovely to catch up with my DB and SIL who where there too. My nephew played very well and his team won so something to cheer about, we had a bit of lunch when we got home and since then I have been asleep on the sofa! Must need it I guess.

Bit of good news, my DSIL texted earlier to say that all things being well she will be discharged today :T they are happier with how she is coping with it all and there is no sign of any infection left in her system so she’s good to go. She’s in a much better state emotionally and is now focusing on the positive, good stuff.

Right, time to stir my stumps and go see that gorgeous horse of mine, love to all xx

Good news Lainey must be a load off your mind

We slept! boy did we sleep, I went from 9 to 4 this morning and then got off again and finally surfaced at 7.15 and it feels good! Out for coffee this morning at the garden centre and then if it's cooler the packing begins in earnest we'll have it all sorted other than a few running things for every day by the end of next week.
