Fuddle, I think I would discourage the cat as well. If you could see what my cat produces, you would think a baby elephant had passed through the garden.

Oh, WhiteGuineaPig, I hadn't realised the Fence elephant had had a baby! :rotfl:

You should see what some of the larger dogs can produce, too - what we politely call a "two-bag job". :D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Im not a fan of cats. when my neighbour next door but one moved in 5 years ago she had 5 of them. All outdoor cats. I didnt find cat droppings in my garden but lots and lots of dead things. Birds, frogs, squirrels and plenty of field mice.

Shes only got the two now as two of them got run over and the third she swore blind got poisoned. Im sad they met their maker the way they did but the amount of dead things dropped dramatically.:T

    Ah yes. The gifts.

When I was a carer I dreaded one household because their cats would often bring dead birds home, rip them to bits in the house and I, and other carers, had a duty to clean the gubbings, blood and feathers up for the gent. It was truly horrible.

I shan't be planting catnip and then. :rotfl: ;) thank you!

Ah we get presents as well.
1 dead mouse by daddy shoes and another by mums chair.
I prefer them dead though, he often brings them in then loses them, and we have a lodger till its spotted.
(he is loved to death but pushes his luck sometimes)

One of ours, best described as "endearingly dense", once managed to catch a mouse which had got indoors and into a cupboard. The cat then ran round the corner into the dining area and sat there with a tail hanging out of the corner of his mouth, and an expression that plainly meant "Now what do I do?"
I managed to persuade him to let go of it and I put it back outside. It didn't come back, so i expect it died of shock, poor thing.

We don't have a cat atm. I'd like another one, they do wonders for my mental health, but the house needs a lot of work doing, so it wouldn't be fair to have a pet until that's been done.

Afternoon everyone, my tenant would like a new bathroom at it's the only way to make the bath drain quicker! They would also like the decking replaced as it is a trip hazard!

I happy to replace the decking at their expense as they were the ones who covered the decking in plastic sheeting.

Let's see where we go from here shall we.
    Chin up, Titus out.
  • If a cat decides it's going to be yours FUDS there's very little you can do about it! they choose where and with who they live and make themselves part of your lives. Don't feed it but if it should take up residence on your plot it certainly won't do its business there, cats never foul their own plots and gardens. However, other cats will so don't shout at Katkin if she/he becomes permanent it won't be the one who owns you! xxx.

I think its a myth really , that cats don't poo in their own garden, we have had so many over the years and they all go in our garden. Its also a myth they don't poo on grass (ours does). He's a rescue cat and after having a really bad life , he got sooo lucky, he's spoiled and loved to death.
