I know that I've told this story before. Bad luck, I'm doing it again.

The cat was having a great time tossing a dead mouse high up into the air and pouncing on it where it landed. I was screaming at ex to DO SOMETHING. Ex didn't even look up from his newspaper to tell me to stop making so much fuss.
With that, the cat threw the mouse up, up, up and down it came - on to ex's forehead and slid straight down to rest between his eye and his specs.

When he had stopped doing the highland fling and yelling blue murder, I told him to stop making so much fuss.

I'm chuckling well here so thankyou :rotfl:

We borrowed the neighbours dog again for a nice walk... and another one besides. It's funny that we seem to fancy walking them more than they do! It's great this part time pet borrowing. Smooches, snuggles, fun walkies, treats. No vet bills or fleas.

I'll share this evenings successful recipe with you:
Dairy free, low carb peanut butter ice cream - 2 cups coconut milk, 1/3 cup peanut butter (no added sugar, salt or oil), 2 tablespoons natvia, 2 teaspoons vodka (keeps it creamy not icy). Hubby is like the cat that got the cream!

Monna it was just as funny in the retelling. I like cats visiting but I would not like to keep one.

So funny Monna. Loving all the cat stories.

We had an hour's break in the rain so we walked into the village, I bought a loaf of bread and some tomatoes, CHS went to the butcher's and bought some sausages, pork belly and pork chops, don't know what I'm eating I don't eat pork!!

Ankle hasn't been fully rested due to CHS'S inability to do anything unaided or without an audience, I tore a strip off him eventually and he is currently being sweetness and light!

    THOUGHT FOR TODAY

Your future self is watching you right now through the memories you are making.
De-lurking for the sole purpose of saying that Monna's Thought for Today is positively scary.

Islandmaid do I have this right, you have cats named Eric and Ernie? I once had two Lhasa Apsos staying with me, named Derek and Clive. :o

LW yes we have Eric and Ernie, and then we adopted a black cat and her daughter the week Cilla Black passed, so they are Cilla (black) and Bobbie :D

    Love Derek and Clive :rotfl:

Reading through, I wonder why us daft humans give House room to our fluffy serial murderers :rotfl: But I do love em - desperately missing my Westie 'Baxter' but not the right time for a new fur baby

Awful day today. Two local 18 year old girls killed in an Rta. One was an neighbours girlfriend. Just bloody tragic.
