Oh Oh - looks like Captain Silva will have to brush up on her nav skills!! Anything for a home made buttered cheese scone ;)

You and Hester are in charge of navigation :D

I volunteer Islandmaid and Monna in charge of sustenance;)..I expect we will enjoy a scrumptious feast every day :)

The rest of us will just muck in and do whatever else is required...apart from Mar, she's in charge of the Jelly Babies :D

Although someone will have to keep the heffalump confined to it's trunk...we wouldn't want to cause any undue alarm to fellow passengers by letting him loose on deck

(Yep, I'm convinced I really have now lost the plot..I blame illness and a lack of food :o)

Totally underwhelmed by my gp surgery this week. My BP was 180/100 on Monday in the surgery and I was sent to hosp for 6 hours testing (I had chest pain). No cause found so I was chucked back out, still with the pain - although not so bad. All week my BP has stayed high, and I don't feel right. Today it's 170/95 - and the doc has just told me on the phone to "Go for a nice walk in the fresh air" .... and booked me the 24 hour monitor for Wednesday. :(

Oh for goodness sakes. You've had symptoms for more than a week. Observe thyself and shout, shout, shout should you need more medical help.

You won't be a meek auld lady not wanting to be a bother to the medics will you? Promise? Just this once once eh? ;) if I were you I'd stick your fingers on your pulse point and make note of your heart rate a few times a day. It's something, should you need it, to use to be listened to.

As I made the cruise suggestion, you lot will find me reclining in my suite . Muck in indeed, I think not :rotfl:

OK, so if I stay a bit longer in the Caribbean you can pick me up at the local yacht club over here, right?
I make great rum cocktails and if the sea is rough I could put on the entertainment - me staggering across the deck, various slap-stick scenes, with cocktail glass in hand, singing a sea shanty   :j
I have changed my work-life balance to a life-work balance.

Hey, we are heading out to Spain in six days time.

It's snowing and -9. Woke up to 10cm this morning and no cleared roads for most of my drive to work. Slow and steady did it and the fact that I was out at 0430!. Found out we have a pack of Coyotes in the neighbourhood and they look healthy and are very large!

We've been under a snow warning now for 48 hours. Total projected fall is 25cm. We've already got that, and it's still snowing.

So yes, I'm having fantasies of warmth, sunshine, and no snow boots.
