Oh Mar I feel for you and that blasted monitor. I now refuse to have it and get a portable one to take away for a week and test myself twice a day. Much more realistic readings. In the meantime relax and take it easy, that goes for you too Karcher.

Also, on the subject of ex's and Parents Evening - my ex brought along his girlfriend as well because 'she's the one who helps DS with his homework' ...... poor teachers didn't know where to look or who to speak to!!

I'm afraid that my can-can days are well over, if in fact they ever began, but I will certainly enjoy the spectacle, particularly if certain members of this group decide to join you.
Well, the island is becalmed at the moment - no wind, well not outside anyway, Millie is doing her best to redress the balance inside the house. However, wind and rain are forecast for a couple of hours time. I must get myself into gear and get up to the shop before it all kicks off

As our crew is going to be too many for either Hesters boat or mine we need a bigger boat especially as the elephant will be on board in cases of marauders (we can easily deal with pirates - rum cocktails and cheese scones and they'll show us where they've hidden their treasure) but as all vessels are she - she will need a name - suggestions please.Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
