MrsCD said:Ok.....I've read all the posts, and I think its such a shame what's going on right now. Monna is having a hard time with her friend in his last days and all we can do is snipe at each other. Polly and Ming have brightened my days many a time talking absolute rubbish, and so what if it rakes over old ground. They have known each other for years and it is all taken in good fun. Many folks here have had rough times and just need a bit of escape now and then. Burtha has turned her life around and soon we'll be celebrating her marriage to the frog. People we probably will never meet have become friends and I think its time to take a breath and just calm down.
The garden fence is somewhere we can all be welcome, and just like in RL there will be different views, but please, no more nastiness.Thank you for this. I admit I was upset last night. Just noticed all the typos in my posts. You've put what I was trying to say much better than I did. It is true it's difficult to keep a once busy and vibrant thread varied and interesting when only a few posters are left.I find it difficult to understand why those who used to post on a regular basis so it was varied and interesting weren't interested in keeping the thread alive with different topics when Monna siad please dom't let this old thread die.Rather than judge ,taking part and contributing with different topics would have helped. From time to time the Heffalumps would appear and many people enjoyed the banter. No one meant things in a hurtful way. It was good to see newer posters jion in along the way.I would be glad to post here if the thread and content weren't being judged from afar by people I liked and respected nad considered forum friends some were kind and supportive to me over the years.I thank those who have messaged me and commented here.No one owns threads some of us just did what we could.I doubt you will have a chance to see this Monna but you are in our hearts and thoughts at this difficult time . Both K and I send you strength and love.pollyxx

Haven’t posted here before but had to pop in to say thanks for the laundry drying app suggestion. Tech gets everywhere these days
As a bit of a weather geek I already have several weather apps but from the reviews on the App Store it looks worth the spend - unless it ever comes up on the free app of the day? In answer to the OPs question I usually dry laundry on an airer in the bath with the trickle vent open. The birds have got too used to my rotary dryer being used to hang bird feeders over the winter. I have got some bamboo canes now to build a tripod for the feeder - but I want a second tripod for beans and I worry it would just train them on where to go to eat my crop 🙁

Repeating old "in" jokes that were once funny gets boring and can on occasion be perceived as snipy comments, hence why I only dip in now & then and choose when to engage.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

We had rats in the loft in our old house we were a mid terrace of 6 and they were running through but we had to get a pest controller in with traps and continually baiting it kept them at bay until we sold i think the cost was about £120 for 3 visitsSlava Ukraini6
