Beautiful swans Hester. It was pouring with rain when I brought the milk in earlier, I prefer a more mellow Autumn. Last week youngest dd and I were scuffling through the fallen Autumn leaves on a lovely sunny day. Today is looking quite dismal.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

The plot has well and truly been lost after all the Ming years. Lying down in a darkened room seems quite a good idea right now.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

It's about time we had a party by the Fence, to cheer us all up. Now who's for a Nineties Rave? Or a Sixties hippy love-in? Or a mash of the two?One life - your life - live it!9

This old hippy would vote for the 60s Nargle. I think we could all do with some peace and love right now.I was subjected to some dire music when the various offspring were growing up. MMMBop on repeat anyone?pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

Ok, bring your old mono 45s and we'll blast them out at full volume. There'll be plenty of that leftover old nasty German wine that tastes like antifreeze, and we can stick candles in the empty bottles instead of using fairy lights. I suppose Monnagran will bring the wacky baccy as usual? One life - your life - live it!8

Definitely the 60s for me.
Oh gawd Polly, the songs mine used play on repeat, one of my girls also played MMMbop continually, My oldest it was Sweet child of mine and another was I'm a Barbie Girl. I swear my brain used to dribble out my ears some days.
