Hester I doubt there was ever a time in your life you earned the thick as two short planks label. I've always been amazed by how you survived a mother who seemed unworthy of the name.

You've faced adversity a number of times and rose above it. Your children knew they were loved and so do their children along with the children being loved and cared for although not of their blood.

For a divorce to make a young girl struggling to manage financially homeless shows where the blame lies.

Your mothers hair seemed to be more of a priority than your welfare.

I'm glad your grandparents took you in and cared for you. You have a lot to be proud of, many people wouldn't have coped but you did and you have many times over the years. You got through tough times and found your Steve. The stroke was a bolt from the blue but you're still together thanks to your loving care, even if you get on each others nerves from time to time which is perfectly normal.

You're a survivor Hester through your own courage and refusal to let life and toxic people wear you down however hard it's been.

We've laughed and cried with you over the years. Hopefully now there'll be more laughter than tears.

I hope it wont be long before you can see your little grandaughter and family again. Times are difficult enough at the moment but you'll get through one day at a time as you've always tried to.

If it's not pouring with rain take Beano for a walk if he's willing. Give Steve a big smile, that may confuse him.

What line of business might that be ? The original purpose of the precious vase was for secret spying duties, you failed miserably at that. No idea if you got bored or the new wallpaper was too much to bear not to mention the waffling.

Could it be the Alnwick sweeties or the attempt to disguise your house up the hill as a gingerbread house?

Then there was all the digging, butchering and freezing. I could go on but it would take a lot of time and I'd end up with sore fingers and a headache.

As you're a Capricorn maybe try looking up the lyrics to Kris Kristofferson's Jesus was a Capricorn online and seeing if his life would suit you. There are no comfy recliners involved so it might be a challenge but that shouldn't bother someone adapable

and versatile although there is no mention of a vase so that could be a problem.

I turn my back for a few hours- finally fell asleep and back you come.

I'm starting to think the woman who used to call you Madarthur was right all along.

It's taking a long time for us to see any positive result from your supposed successful spying mission it was a long time ago.
