I'm very basic Mar. I have enough voices in my life without Alexa. I checked and the printer is wireless as were the previous two. I had no problems using them and didn't go for the ink top up option. I was able to buy the full ink cartridges which seemed expensive but turned out to be long lasting.

I bought them in a local stationary shop but they were also available online on the big river site and others.

I don't use my phone for anything other than calls if I'm out and about. The printer links to youngests desktop or my laptop and is easy to use.

DD1 is 50 today so I'm wondering where that half centuary went, Son was 51 last Tuesday , just a year and a week between them, it doesn't seem that long since they were little.

@MingVase our printer is a HP OfficeJet 3830, and plugs into a USB port; it has a scanner and photocopier incorporated, but I find it easy to use. It's usually plugged into the pc, but if I want to print from the laptop, I take the plug out of the USB port on the pc and simply plug in into one on the laptop.

Phew! Just caught up.
Well done all those who got the results they wanted today!
Ming, we have an hp printer which connects either by cable or wireless. We signed up to instant ink for £1.99 a month which gives us up to 50 sheets of printing a month and all the ink we need, as and when the printer decides we need new cartridges. It's more than enough for us and you can carry over to the next month. If we need more printing we can increase our contract month by month. It works for us but I realise it's not for everyone.
Florence, I do hope you get some help tomorrow. Not a very good diet!

Morning fencers.

I'm back in civilisation again so I have wifi. Thanks for the advice about DVD players hopefully I can get one ready for winter.

Beano and I will have an extra long dog walk today, We could both do with the exercise and we are due any rain. We had 4 days of almost none stop rain.

dog walk sounds good Hester,   we have  just came back from a 6 mile walk , legs are a big scratched and battered .. but overall it was nice and the rain is holding off .
