Nice idea Mar. You can knit some blankets so you can wrap up warm and enjoy being outside. Keeping everything crossed for the RV.6

He's had this since the bypass op NM, the consultant at the post op check said his heart was speeding up when he inhales then slowing down when he exhales. Very weird. But he "didnt think" it was serious... gulp!2

He worries all the time anyway about you.

Hope everyone is doing ok. We are not at the throttling one another point just yet. Luckily we live on the edge of the town and can be in countryside in two minutes, walking. yesterday we went for about a 4 mile walk up the lane. Only encountered about 6 people... I'll be annoyed if the idiots going to Snowdonia, crowding london parks etc ruin it for the rest of us who are being responsible.
I'll also be annoyed if they say you can only go for a walk if you're a dog owner.... The rest of us need walking too. It was funny when we did encounter people though - we stepped right out of the way to let them pass - several were shocked and were going "we're ok, we're clean"... but, of course, none of us knows.
My Sister In Law has 'it'. Not badly, but enough to see her in bed for the week. She is on day 10 or so now, so should be starting to pick up. She hasn't been tested but has all the classic symptoms. I absolutely do not want to get it, i do not do well with lung things... So i am following advice pretty rigorously - hand washing, hot drinks, i'm gargling with honey and apple cider vinegar, i'm about to start nasal douching (i have chronic sinusitis and post nasal drip, i need to stop 'it' settling in my nose and throat) and taking various supplements. Luckily we are doing ok for groceries and fresh - we're visiting a little local coop that even at 4 o'clock yesterday had some fresh in - bananas for one.
THis morning i have my first 'live' yoga session - i shall set up in the bedroom and shut everyone else out, so they can't laugh at me....I wanna be in the room where it happens7 -
There is a bit of that 'live for today' feeling knocking about isn't there. My polytunnel was less than £50 delivered and it bolts together like a proper thing lol not like the flimsy plastic and aluminium greenhouses which get destroyed here in a matter of years. We have laid the base but are both now generally bu**ered by all the work so having a rest day. Ive not gathered my self into ' spirit of the blitz' mode yet, Im still on 'what the bl**dy hell' stage. However I have just got off my bum and done some jobs that I was ignoring so I may be progressing. This isn't like me but the whole thing is so surreal I cant quite fathom it. Sending hugs where needed and keep healthy guys xxxxClearing the junk to travel light

I will get my caravan6 -
We'll all need time to get used to the idea Ginny, it's been a roller coaster couple of weeks here since DD2 shut us in a week last Thursday and I've run the gamut of emotions from stunned, flat despair, angry, self pity and determination which is where I am today. This is going to be very hard, there will be many things we experience that will challenge us to our core BUT if there is a way of doing it we will still be here when they find a vaccine for covid-19 and can make it in large enough quantity for everyone needing it to be dosed. In the meantime we'll do our best with what we have and what we can get and take it day by day and hopefully one day we'll be able to hug thos grandchildren and daughters again and be family once more, fingers crossed eh?6
