It's lovely to see burtha and Monna back. Glad you had a proper holiday burtha. I am hopefully on the way to internet issues getting sorted. Youngest and I spent a very long day at her boyfriends while he checked the problems. He spent many years trying to keep the NHS website functioning and is now working on a new and better one. he and dd have sorted most problems for my laptop now.He did shake his head at the new platform but it is what it is. There are some things hard to figure out and I wondered at one point if a Q&A thread may help however I've struggled to keep up with my own thread during internet, weather and illness events so we would need a volunteer! For those missing the old way. I spent some time on Saturday while the techies were sorting things reading back through this thread ( the advantage of many desktops and laptops in the room) I got to page 45 and have to ask what were we all on? Also wondering where we got the energy from.I hope the weather isn't too bad for fellow msers and sending positive vibes to the poorlies or those struggling.Mar Be very afraid I learned how to post in colour on Saturday and how to find the emojis I missed. Too tired to even try at the moment. I've a number of sheets of A4 to refer to though when this cough departs. Hope you're both well.pollyxx.It is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

oooh post in colour .... need to work out how to do that , nice to see everyone again 🙂
it's so cold here tonight , but at least the snow had almost gone now , my holiday seams like a distance memory now ..... was fun though, living in the back of a converted van for a week , wild camping , runs through sand / mountains / streams .... and the best bit was, mostly there was only us there . ... 🐸 has turned out to be a canny lad 👍

Your wild camping takes me back many years to a camper van and canal boats. every girls dream to end up with a canny lad who starts out as a rumpled frog and turns into a prince. Good to know you wont be sawing logs to stay warm.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

I think I am now on my third attempt to work out this site. And it looks like I just need to post from my sons Dell laptop instead of my very old ipad that like me is rather past it's best but still has lovely visuals
Thank you for those who waved hello last time I posted, I'm stuck at home as the weather is terrible and two of my sons who are in their twenties have decided to catch a childhood illness, hand foot and mouth disease! We are a family of late developers.... I too love your avatar Burtha, and that sounds like a wonderful holiday.

Anybody else getting repeat email notifications that are days old?

I don't get email notifications, Mar...
Morning all - had a bit of bother from younger child the other night... Massive mental health issues that came to a head. He's finally given in to anti-depressants and we have got him some private counselling (so grateful that we can afford it - what about the poor souls who can't? The NHS is so massively stretched and mental health I think is terribly hard hit). As some may remember my BiL took his own life, so we take mental health very seriously.
Anyhoo - onwards and upwards for him, I hope but we are keeping a close eye for the first couple of weeks of anti-D's as they can make you worse before they make you better...
