RV still in hosp, BP and heartbeat erratic and not settling. I think he just enjoys being fussed over by young nurses...
Weather unbelievably dire and I'm fedup of it.
Where is best please, to get cheap and cheerful xmas decs? Sorry in a rush here so typing more awful than usual.0 -
Places like pound shops, B & M, Home Bargains, Wilko, places like Aldi and Lidl of course, maybe market stalls? There's also your own back garden and any fields or wooded areas nearby. Near the solstice you can go out and collect greenery and branches and foliage with berries on. Doesn't have to be just holly, ivy and fir, any evergreen will do. Twine it into garlands for mantelpieces and shelves, tuck small pieces behind pictures, tie some to a bit of branch that you've cleaned down together with some small shiny baubles to make your own kissing bough to hang up somewhere. Get a piece of log and transform it into a Yule log with foliage, berries baubles, drill a hole in the top to fit a candle in - proper traditional table decoration. Make small arrangements with the leftover bits for vases and bowls. One life - your life - live it!0
