Good luck with the meeting, hope you find it useful x

Thanks, so do I. I know DS is no angel but I need to get this sorted. Thankfully his year head is approachable.
  • I hope it all goes well xx
  • Afternoon,

Meeting with Year head went ok and she is going to look in to why certain protocols weren't followed and look at moving today's after school detention to lunch time instead, but DS will need to let me know to confirm.

So I made it back to site and through the torrential rain on the M4 but will be leaving at 2.30 to get the boy if I've not heard from him before then.

Managed to get most of the running around sorted except the bank.

Glad the meeting went well, very frustrating when people don't follow the correct procedures!

  • I'm glad the meeting went well and I really hope that it helps to sort out the issues with DS.
Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
    Debt in July 2017 = £58,766 😱 DEBT FREE 31 OCTOBER 2017 :T 🎉
    EMERGENCY FUND 1 = £50/£5,000. EMERGENCY FUND 2 = £10/£5,000.
    CHRISTMAS SAVINGS = £0/£500. SEF = £1,400/£12,000 PREMIUM BONDS ME = £350. PREMIUM BONDS DH = £300.
HOLIDAY MONEY = £0 TIME LEFT TO PAY OFF MORTGAGE = 5 YEARS 1 MONTHS
  • Morning,

Woo hoo! It's Friday, the best day of the whole working week and it's payday to boot :D

Money has been transferred to pots, DD holding pot and savings pots. Everything but the mortgage has been moved into the DD holding pot, so I can try and keep a better tab on it next month, any extra will go off the MBNA again.

Payments to CC's has been made and signature has been updated.

I'm on my first £1000 of my £4000 target for the year, so that's heading in the right direction. I should hit and hopefully exceed my target this year as I have £2000 to come off the BC.

However DH needs to chop his car in, so there will be £2000 to go back on it, but CC's will still be less than they were by December.

Waiting for PA payout to hit Paypal, then that can go off the Cap One card. Not doing many surveys at the moment, I've kind of loss momentum, so I really need to get back in to them.

DD's French trip has been paid off, so she's all set for June, need to pay £30 towards one of DD's Guide camps but this can wait until Feb's payday.

Kids lunch accounts have been topped up too, an extra incentive for them is that if they get DARE points for good behaviour, then at the end of the week they get extra money on their accounts....10p for every point.
  • PA payment came through, so this has been paid off the Cap One card.

Balance on that is now £452.73
  • Morning,

Got a lot to sort this weekend, I think it'll go by very quick.

    To sort this weekend
    • Washing
    • Food shop
    • Menu list
    • Sew remaining badges on DD's camp blanket
    • DS bag packing in Morrisons
    • Flylady if possible
    • Sort kids homework/sign their planners
    • Get sorted for school/work
    • Wrap DH's presents
    • Ironing
    • Go for a walk if the weather improves

I need to go to the bank and pay in a cheque if possible, nip to the cobblers and collect DH's shoes and get birthday cards and wrapping paper too.

I collected DH's painting yesterday and the framers did a great job in repairing the frame, really pleased and it cost £10 which was budgeted for.

    Have a great day X

  • Not too sure what's happening with MSE at the moment, some lovely people have lost their diaries :( I hope that it's just temporary.
