Hope ds improves and that you get the nit situation sorted x
  • Afternoon,

Busy day on site today BSI auditors are in again, hopefully we'll get the accreditation after all this. Way too stressful and so many questions!!!

On the MSE front....Senior project manager bought bacon rolls for brekkie and lunch....although I had to go and get the lunch, it was still free, so not complaining :j :money:

I need to do a top up shop tonight or we won't be having any dinner, I went to get some pork out of the freezer last night and........we didn't have any Doh!

DS got told to attend his detention, hopefully he will do and we can move on and get the rest of him sorted.
  • Forgot to add, DD is pestering us for her friend from old place to come and visit, so that's being arranged. Also I'm trying to arrange a date one weekend to go and visit my friends too and the kids can catch up, definitely when the weather is warmer though :D

This year should be a good one.
  • Just heard from the school and it appears that DS didn't attend his break time detention today for yesterdays trouble, so he's got a lunchtime one tomorrow **rolls eyes**

Late night tonight, DD is ice skating with Guides and DS has cadets.
Hope DS's behaviour picks up soon PMO2. I have absolutely had it with my 2 at the minute, especially DD1 who slammed her bedroom door so hard that a picture fell off the wall and smashed  xx

Teenagers :wall: it's lucky they don't stay that way forever .

  • I'm unsure what is happening with DS at the moment and I wish he'd sort himself out.

DS didn't go to the lunchtime detention and now has an after school one today. The school are being great and know that we are willing to help as much as we can, I do feel for his teachers though.

He has got his phone back for today, just so that I can contact him once I go pick him up.

Need to get some diesel today but I'm only putting in a bit and will refill it properly on Monday.

My lunch is in the fridge from yesterday, so I'll have that with a cuppa soup :money:

I wonder what DS is playing at? It's hard to get them to talk at that age. Probably just feeling obstinate.

    Morning,

Made it to Saturday  what a week that ended in the washing machine breaking down too, thankfully we've got our old one from the old house so just need to swap them over.

    Weekly round up.

    Good things:
    • Took lunch every day
    • Had lunch and brekkie bought for me one day
    • DD's teacher rang to praise her for her maths
    • Stuck to meal plan
    • Managed at least 4 NSD's but need to check

    Bad things:
    • DS had a bad week
    • Failed on the AFD's
    • No flylady done this week
    • Washing machine broke down
    • Didn't make our bed every morning

Overall a mixed week, had a report from DS's teacher to say he's done more work towards the end of the week then he has all week and she hopes he on the turn around, he's got some homework to complete so I'll run through that with him later.

The audit at work wasn't a complete success so doubtful well get the accreditation.

DD's maths teacher rang yesterday with a very pleasing report for her.

    Things to do this weekend:
    • Top up shop and buy DD ingredients for school - DONE
    • Sort DS's SIM card for cheapo phone - GRRRR
    • Washing - Being sorted
    • Try to get some flylady done
    • Sew more badges on DD's camp blanket
    • Sort homework and planners out
    • Get sorted for work/school
    • Ironing

Doubtful I'll get to go for a walk as its forecast to rain hard all weekend :(

Cuppa first, then shower, then on to my list.
  • Sounds like a few good positive things this week in amongst the broken washing machine/detention thing. Hope you have a good weekend!
Trying to figure out a whole new life. Trying to figure out a whole new budget.
Divorcing, unclear on final debt total right now, but focusing on building a financial buffer zone.
  • So went to phone shop to be told that no they can't transfer remaining credit over to another sim as its PAYG, so sim is useless/dead/kaput. Spoke to Three, really helpful, explained that DS is due an upgrade in May and can do a deal then where he'll have more data and at a cheaper price. So DS has been told to hang on and not mess up and he'll get more data.

DH and DS swapped over the washers, so now we've got clothes getting clean again :D told DH I don't think the hard water here helps matters, he wants to get some Calgon, I told him vinegar is cheaper lol

Both kids have changed their beds and brought all their washing down.

Dishwasher has been emptied and refilled and kitchen tidied.
