Hi just reading your diary I'm a newbie here. Can I ask how are you getting on with the £2 a day spending? I really like the idea of £2 a day and I take it you just roll it over if you don't spend it. Xx

Hi Rachel,

It can prove tricky at times, especially if I don't bring my lunch from home.

Anything that I don't use, I roll over to the next day. Sometimes it means that I can buy my lunch on Friday.

Afternoon,

I have been thinking about August (it comes around too quick!) and what I want to achieve, so here is my plan:

• NSD - I plan to try this one again
• AFD's - I plan to try this one again too
• Surveys - Going well so far
• Lunches to work - Worthwhile in the long run
• £10 weekly allowance - Aiming to do better this month
• Meal plan

Personal:

• Free days out with the kids - I'm holiday for the last two weeks of August :j
• Ebay - Photograph and upload once I've sorted out the kids clothes
• Reading - Carry on with it
• Sew DD's badges on her camp blanket....she's back up to 15 again
• Better sleep

Things that are happening in August:

DD's birthday is on the 22nd
DD goes on Guide camp - 25th - 28th so badges need to be done by then!
DD has Bikeability course - 29th - 31st
Buy kids school uniforms and shoes - list made

I have also gone through the finances and have made the necessary transferring of money over to cover what will come out before Friday.

I have also worked out my travel for August and we will save £200 just by me having two weeks off as I don't need to buy a monthly train or parking ticket :money:

Morning,

Nearly Friday, I can see it just peeking around the corner.

Had an interesting day yesterday, DS was playing Roblox on the laptop when a message appeared saying that there was a virus on the laptop and to call Microsoft on the number.

DS phoned them, they attempted to access said laptop but couldn't due to DH's security permissions, they told DS they'd call back after 6pm to fix the laptop.

No phone call! It's a scam :mad: seems they target kids online games as kids are easy targets and then they hack your computer, take your personal info etc, thankfully this one got stopped before any damage happened :cool:

Looking on the Internet, this is happening lots recently (I didn't know)
Both kids are banned from Roblox now, in case something else happens like that.

In your goal list - is AFD alcohol free days. If it is you could post on the giving up alcohol thread. I fond it mega useful and it really has helped me masses.
But maybe that's not what you meant and I have wrong end of stick. xx

Morning PSL, yes AFD is alcohol free days. I used to post on that thread years ago and it was good for me when I was on a diet

I may post again on there, I'm not looking at quitting but generally cutting down a bit. xx

Morning, it's Thursday

Payments came out from the money I transferred over yesterday, just one to do tonight.

The extra money we have in the savings will be used to pay the gas and electric, so just DD's birthday to sort.

Next month should be fairly easy as I'm holiday for some of it and DH is holiday next week.

DH's pay day tomorrow, can't wait and mine is on Monday.

Mine are banned from Roblox due to other issues, the police had to do a talk at their school about a child there being groomed! I deleted it and told them under no circumstances are they to go on it anywhere! not even at a friends.

Scary stuff! I wasn't aware that something like that could happen on that game, is there a 'chat' feature?
