Sorry I've not been about, thank you for all your messages
Handover to new DC, yesterday afternoon and today, leaving drinks last night and slightly jaded this morning :rotfl:
Today was really nice, they don't do a lot on sites, burly blokes etc but I got four tubs of celebrations, one for each office which was appreciated and when it came time to leave (I bailed out at 12.30) I got lovely hugs of the team and a leaving card....I nearly cried.
Came home picked the kids up from school, had an email from DD's head of year to say she's been nominated for Tutee of the week for standing up in front of loads of people to ask to be nominated for the school council  plus DS earned more points at school today
Had to de-nit DD's hair again, so I'm going to email the school and tell them I'm fed up of it now and they need to sort it.
Cottage pie is cooking away in the oven and I need a shower, but may have a bath with a glass of wine instead.0 -
