Pleasures for today (Wednesday)
1) A lie in.
2) Hen OK. Planted the remains of the mixed flower seeds and some pea tendrils.
3) Washing dried outside now we've mended the post that holds it up.
4) Cleared away all the honeysuckle clippings. Put some more self seeded herbs into pots.
5) Played badminton.
6) Played Scrabble online and made flapjacks.

For two days I would have found it hard to find 5 for Tuesday but Wednesday was better.
1. Given Easter egg at work on Tuesday from Nestle and hot cross buns from Mark's and Spencer.
2. A message of thanks from someone - she had phoned work especially to thank me.
3. Time in the garden to relax and de stress.
4. Texting a friend.
5. The sun shining.11 -
For yesterday,
Bacon and lo cheese scone for breakfast, interesting and tasty combination.
Over to see my girlie, lunged her in the pen and she was full of the joys of spring, for five minutes I held on as she charged about in circles, snorting with head and tail held high, looking gorgeous! She eventually calmed down and did some decent work.
Home and hungry, so glad had boiled eggs for a big salad, added avocado for extra oomph.
Sat in the garden watching the busy birds, they accept us now and as long as small dog stays under my seat they will take no notice. Mrs Blackbird had a bath and several sparrows stood underneath showering in the overspill.
More food ( how important has each meal become ) tea was pork schnitzel with Parmesan and lemon zest added to crumb coating, very nice.

Good morning everyone. The last three weeks have been so busy and i'm more grateful that I can say for a job that I can do from home. I have been heartened to read all your posts and hope all are well.
My recent five.
Having a reasonably fine spell to do garden and outside jobs.
So many bees this year, perhaps because I am outside at lunchtime and have the opportunity to see them. All the seeds I have sown this year have been for pollinators so fingers crossed.
I have a dog to walk during my exercise as she belongs to an elderly couple who are staying in. I have a new lead for her so they don't have to clean theirs.
I echo Marks & Spencer, Mhags. I can get most things at ours and its a speedy turnaround.
Both cats are loving the weather. Back door is open so the constant meowing has ceased.
Messages and calls from Family and friends.
Good and kind people doing amazing things.12 -
Morning, all. Feeling disgustingly cheerful today [it can't last, but counting blessings & having to take socks off]
Solid plan made to go look at municipal cheery tree & inspect it for developing blossom exactly as if I was hiking into the office. [I need to figure at what time!]
Doodle for delivery drivers - the Hermes collection chap locally reminds me of a gnome - short bearded but, despite the scrupulously correct distancing, merry as a cricket. Possibly in the age group that we ought to be protecting, but he seems to prefer being allowed out driving & we’re very happy to see him.
Youngest brought me a cup of tea, as I was at my office desk, absolutely without prompting. Do you need witnesses to a Codicil to a Will? Some days I am just so blinking proud of him. (The other too, but on different subjects.)
Kerrang had live music from Welshman “the Poets” playing from their garden & kitchen, amongst others. Brilliant in small doses! (Metal without amplification & drums can veer towards Folk... which is fine, just I like to know which.)
Excavated seed stash & planning to take steps re spuds & kale. Husband applied chicken manure pellets to herb garden without prompting & has said a bit of weeding & we can get the bark chippings bought last year down. (Only 8 sacks, a tad weather bleached, waiting for this!)
Health strength love & courage to all as have need, along with strong backs were digging planned (gardening not inhuming I hope) abundant seeds, compost, even seedlings & young plants but above all Hope.

Good morning all, pleasures for yesterday....
The HT woke me at 6am which meant that we were up and dressed early enough to go for a walk along the prom (it gets busy there later on so we avoid it)
HT's friend called to wave at him from the end of the path. Her mum had sent her shopping so I took her instead (mum has toddlers so better than taking them). It was nice to talk to someone other than the HT and supermarket was almost empty.
Having fruit in the fruit bowl again due to the above trip - it's been a while
It was my sister's 50th birthday so chatting via free internet stuff and I think she had a decent enough time all things considered. She has three of her four children still home and her stepson lives there too so there were people to celebrate with and presents were also dropped into her porch at regular intervals.
Photo sent by the HT's friend of her family all sat with the ice creams that I bought them while we were shopping. If she'd walked she couldn't have bought any as they would have melted. It was good to see the toddlers enjoying a little treat.
DfV your description of the delivery man made me giggle. He sounds an absolute delight.
Take care all of you and stay safe13 -
Just one chocolate ...
Now here is todays p;picture from BoP. I seems stick in San Francisco at the movement! Well why not as the weather was good as well! Look at how not many cars weres on the road! I ponders hows BoP done that, when it was full of cars!
Magic our Maurice!
Bacon in a scone as in gone with cheese? Nows comes on yous lot, there is Bacon and Egg banjo, the squirtier, the better! BoPsie can no handle them! Proper foods.
DfV a change of socks! Cheery blosums as well, ours is well bloomed and the willow is flowing as well.
Scrabble. BoPsie is still only one win away from the chance of playing for too on the bounce!
Nows with you view on BoP's Life!
Happy Birthday to BoPsie. We has cake, chocklate, whine inn. Not much else thoughs. Still she got the snake inn four tonites dinner. Fillet stake, mushrooms. All served up at Gaff de BoP! No candles will be lighted on the cake, we don'ts want a fiore do we. Just had ham sarnie, toms and cucumber, fruits and the last of the xmas caqke. I made a kitchen mistake with the xams cake last year, I left the base on the cake whens I iced it!
Court up with challenge of uni, and the Dog. Wobbleades were consumed last nite and BoPsie having seen some Tom Cooper, decided we needed to wat Mike Potty Time as well. Theres on the tube thing so no tax goes to the BBC!
As I sayd before, fixed the big printer and now produce colour at the Pad of BoP. We need colour to perks us up!
Watching the cricket, I has duns mes crosswords and bits. Just got the slides and wordweels to do later. I thinks Notts will not be winning again!
PM2DD Wish theyed show proper footie with the Mariners and Hatters on the thing though!
Rite that is all in your view of BoP's Life!
Keep Sage!

For a few days..
1-5 After a bad asthma attack I didn’t want to go to hospital, the doctors spoke to me on the phone and sorted out steroids and antibiotics.
6 Both freezers defrosted, and I was able to meal plan with things I didn’t realise I had.
7 Amended the online order for delivery tomorrow, based on the above and the fact yet more stuff was out of stock online.
8 Cleaned out an area, washing hung out again, and a bit of garden tidying.
9 A$da delivery man closely matches your description DfV, delivered some staples and very nice to haves but anything remotely to do with baking wasn’t available, I’m very impressed by the delivery thou. As for the baking bits, there is somewhere locally else that does.
10 Sorted out the gas and leccy tariff, thanks to a reminder.
11 Supporting local for things the big supermarket couldn't provide, but it's painful to the wallet.

take care P-K asthma and be tricky as I’m sure you know.
1-5 I have successfully negotiated the perils of private home care and they will be taking over from Social Services on Monday .
DH now needs two people to get him in and out of bed often needing the hoist and I just can’t do it alone anymore .Think I’ve found a good company but it’s a minefield.
Feeling a bit miffed as we were told could have Social Services for 6 weeks ,but they have changed their minds as there is no chance of him improving!
Apparantly we have too much money to get any financial help ,never knew we were rich ,!
maybe we should have gone on more holidays etc
The upside is that paying ourselves mean we get choice but,so some positive points .
6 reading your pleasures
7 I have bought and planted 4 chilli pepper plants ,wonder if they’ll grow ,wonder if I’ll remember to water them .13
