For the last couple of days.
1. Had a bbq on Saturday and then sat round the fire pit until late. A good evening and it was very peaceful.
2. Have planted some vegetable seeds. More to do but a start has been made.
3. Zoom meeting with all my family. It was good seeing everp.
4. Arranged a virtual drink with friends on Friday.
5. Keeping in touch with people by text.
6. Listening to people having fun in their gardens.10 -
Good morning
The weather haa definitely changed now. Windy and cold. So glad we spent as much time as possible outside last week.
Watched Andrea Bocelli from Milan Cathedral last night. So moving. I saw him last year with DD as a birthday treat for me. We've made a pledge to see him again next year for her 40th birthday ( 40!! How did that happen so quickly!)
Beautiful views of Italian cities. St Mark's Square looks even more beautiful when empty, but very sad.
FaceTime with DS, and family. They had been on a virtual Easter Egg hunt around their village arranged by some of the mums. Such fun!
Confirmed that I don't like swede! Don't think I've eaten it since I was a child but it came in the veg box so couldn't waste it! It's certainly not worth all the effort it took to chop it up! DH liked it tho so have frozen the rest. I think he's a bit deprived really. I don't tend to buy things I don't like ( swede, rhubarb, celery - to name but three) so he misses out. The fruit and veg box is varying his options a bit. No bad thing really.
Happy chilly Monday everyone

For yesterday,
Bacon butties and catching up on all things Ambridge, it’s weird listening to something that doesn’t reflect the virus but also comforting in a way.
Long bath whilst reading my book, had a visit from small dog and she stood up on the side looking hopeful as loves water, that was a definite no!
Roast dinner followed by a choc & hazelnut steamed pudding, it was a discovered item at back of cupboard and had obviously been a rtc Crimbo item from the emporium, had an exp date of Feb but still tasty and enjoyed.
Afternoon walk and just got home before the thunder and rain started.
Ate the ears off a bunny, chocolate of course ☺️12 -
Good morning all, pleasures for yesterday....
The Easter bunny brought me a tin of creme eggs
Despite saying that I was going to have a day off from house work I did a washload of clothes and put them on the airer indoors and had a washload of towels and the bathmat out on the line.
It didn't rain until late on when washing was dry and back indoors
Roast chicken dinner with chocolate cake for afters.
Chat with best friend while online gaming.
Take care all of you and stay safe

Todays pleasures.
1 Mr M and I were up bright and early and took the pooches for a walk, which did cheer me up and we only saw one fellow dog walker in the distance.
2. Nice to hear the solar water feature bubbling away while watching the birds on the feeders.
pleasures to be had later today.
3. Bubble and squeak with sausages for dinner, looking forward to that.
4. Finishing my book today and then going to choose a new one from the stash I bought previously and saved to take on holiday which is now cancelled, just hoping I can get my money back from Tui
5. Looking forward to watching Killing Eve and the last episode of The Nest tonight.

Hello. An odd day. Had GP out to mum. She’s in hospital at least overnight though I think they may keep her in for a couple. But felt I couldn’t do much as I waited and waited for a call that never came to say what was happening. Because of current situation not able to stay. I finally phoned . Anyway I’ve since chatted to her she’s had her tea and she’s in the best place. Lots of phoning around to update others. But sun was shining though a cold wind.Son made tea ...again! Hurrah! A very (bit too) spicy stir fry.Just going back out soon to deal with the cats.14

1 Made a curry from scratch and quite pleased with the result. The oven is on it’s deep clean setting with all the other bits soaking waiting for me to get up.
2 Clothes hung out.
3 A candle it burning and there’s one of many books to be finished.
4 The animals are ambling around, they love dusk time.
5 I haven’t achieved much today but maybe I’m saving it for tomorrow..
