Lainey, Tiny is gorgous. How are you doing Frith.
Thanks for the beer tip, we had some left from feeding the slugs beer, I haven’t tried a recipe yet but I’ve found a recipe.
1 Making last nights planned curry tonight, and meal planning tomorrows things using up the rest/last of the fresh things.
2 DH is rather surprised at how mis spent my youth was, after being able to answer a lot info on an online 80s music quiz, the days of Def leppard, etc, and well more, music was very definitely my thing.
3 I’ve sorted out a few farm deliveries, that was no mean feat, and one does duck eggs. It all feels a bit expensive, dh saying it makes up for the times we have been lucky on rtcs
4 A blumin heron decided our pond was lunch, we don’t know how many it’s taken, pleasure being now we know we have done a very temporary cover, not sure how to stop it thou.
5 A little field mouse eating the bird food.

Pleasures for today (Saturday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Feel better but still a bit wheezy and have been for over a week.
3) 2 hours done on the allotment today. Weeded (think brambles and nettles!) round the raspberries and fruit bushes. Moved the strawberries and alpine strawberries into their new bed and the old one will be for flowers.
4) Played Scrabble online and by board game with bigger son.
5) Earth Hour! We're still in candlelight now and had the stove going and used the kettle and coffee making thing on the top.
6) In bed and will watch Casualty just now.

Hope you feel better today Frith
For yesterday
When DS delivered some groceries we passed over some fish fingers and French fries bought for when DGD visit. Almost made me cry
Sorted out all gluten free stuff kept for when DD visits to hand over today. Pleasure is that we can help
Watered pots in the garden. They are so dry and the water butts are almost empty. And it was so, so cold!
Made cheese straws from a small square of leftover frozen puff pastry and had with a bottle of prosecco leftover from Christmas. Felt very indulgent.
And now it's snowing. Only the tiniest of flakes, but I don't think we'll be sitting in the garden eating ice cream today!
Happy chilly Sunday everyone11 -
Good morning. I’ve had my early morning walk and I’m also having a birthday! All previously made plans out the window as we self isolate/ social distance/places to go closed. However I’m grateful for another year, my family home together ( stop petty squabbles though) it’s a beautiful morning and my dog had the happiest time on his walk without a care in the world and a field full of grass to sniff.Enjoy your day, please feel free to eat cake!12

Happy Birthday Mhags
For yesterday,
Bit of a lie-in followed by boiled egg and marmite soldiers, we are only eating bread at weekends so relished every mouthful!
A long, hot bath as felt cold, the temperature has dropped away.
Reading, lots of reading.
Dug out a batch of chilli from freezer and had that for tea.
Earth hour was spent playing Yahtzee by candlelight.

I am baking a chocolate cake today so will designate it as your birthday cake and send a virtual slice your way
Happy Birthday 🎂13 -
Good morning all, pleasures for yesterday....
Laughing at the very large, very stale bread roll that was in the middle of the grass when I opened the blinds. Must have been dropped by something flying overhead. Not quite as amusing is the thought that people are chucking whole bread rolls out.
Making gingerbread people - they're essential to the HT's survival apparently
Chatting to my sister via message. Her OH works in a tic tac factory and they've been told to carry on working. They export a lot and there are way more flavours of tic tacs than we see in our shops.
Did a bit more of project seven. Projects two, three and five are not yet finished so not as productive as it sounds
Watched some Netflix stuff with the HT. Happy that we enjoy each other's company.
Happy Birthday Mhags. My friend in Japan also has a birthday today and she's woken up to snow
Take care all of you

Happy birthday Mhags
1. Long chat with a friend. Caught up with all her news.
2. Chat with neighbours over the fence. Good that we are friends with them.
3. Some gardening done. Thankful that we have a large garden. Both sons helped us. They must be bored!! The grass is cut and cobnut trees cut back. DH was busy too.
4. Made Eve's pudding and made two so one is in freezer for when it is needed. DS2 made a cheese fondue. Had an enjoyable eating all eating and talking.
5. Watched rugby on tv- old matches but good to watch.
6. Various text/WhatsApp messages with various people. Some we hadn't been in contact with for a while.13 -
Happy birthday Mhags
Gosh darn it, Frith, completely forgot earth hour...
Pleasures for yesterday
1. DD made bread - it is very yummy but i only have a few packets of yeast so we'll have to be sparing. I make sourdough, but this was a wonderful change
2. OH cooked beef in Rioja - with rioja left for me!!
3. Had an online 'pub' meet up with friends. OH was moaning before hand "it'll be rubbish, bloody technology". we were on for an hour and a half and he thoroughly enjoyed it!
4. Family film night - my choice, which was Rocketman! We all loved it. THe rule is you have to stay for 20 minutes and if you don't like it you can then go. We all stayed.
5. Trying to work - i'd gone upstairs to be 'out of the way' but then had DS in his room playing Oasis songs on his guitar REALLY LOUD and DD in the bathroom adjacent singing her head off!! The pleasure is that they are occupied and, despite everything, i am managing to get something done. Though it is slow and i've only 32 days left!
Have a good day all.
I wanna be in the room where it happens14
