2 Popped to B and Q to look at flooring and paint.
3 Its our engaged anniversary 14 years ago so we went out to pick up pizza.
4 Remembered to purchase a lottery ticket online this time as I am terrible at remembering or checking.

1. Home early enough to let chickens out into the garden. One of them is looking very sad as losing feathers. But seems to be just losing them as the skin isn't broken.
2. Managed to clear some of the hall as going to paint it soon or rather DH is.
3. DS2 cooked tea after going to the gym. It has given me more chance to clear the hall.
4. DH visited his Mum so I didn't have to go. She seems ok.
5. Reading my book.0 -
Morning,
DD How lovely to be invited to Jamaica! I get excited if work let me go into Birmingham :rotfl:
1. DH back from Munich. Meetings went well and they even fitted in a bit of sight seeing.
2. Been looking for ideas for kids to make in DT after half term. Too many hours on Pinterest.......Tried out poppy idea - looks good, but may be too tricky/ messy for the group I have in mind. Also tried decorating wooden coasters with a Xmas serviette. Looks really good! (BoP Educationalists and their long holidays!).
3. Lovely warm day again, so got washing on the line and planted some garlic in the raised beds.
4. Polished the brass fender. The cat has been weeing on it, and it was badly tarnished. Used some suggestions from Mr Google, and it is bright and shiny again. Still some interesting patina, but not too noticeable. Very pleased. (Just need a solution for the cat now!).
5. Death of Stalin using Meerkat Movies. :rotfl:0 -
1) Oreo child is on the mend, DD2 is back to work today and DD1 (who is on half term) is going down to babysit him!
2) DD1's history trip to Berlin was a great success, and they all got back safely despite having to be 'strong' at the airport 'gate' as their coach had been held up in traffic and they were still arriving from security as the 'gate closing time' arrived. As she said there are 2 members of staff and 5 pupils on your side of the gate but there are 2 members of staff and 40 more on this side, are you really going to send us home one at a time on successive flights? They got on!!!
3) We went into town to collect a Christmas present we'd had to order in, parked on the Mr.T car park, He Who Knows went to get said item and I got to do a veg top up, fab free parking too!
4) Good nights sleep last night, didn't wake until 20 to 8 this morning, unheard of but appreciated.
5) Tickets for the ballet with DD1 tomorrow, looking forward to it very much!0 -
5 Now as you are aware that BoP does not like Humane Remains, Educationalist, Social Workers, and Software Engineers. He this morning choked on his porage as he read of the self anointed person of little relevance in Wincanton who so obstructed his neighbour. Turns out he is a teacher. Well it seems that his ability to be correct has not got his past the beak and he faces a massive bill! That will teach him to think he is perfect! Just like the social worker with her irrelevant safety covers for sockets. Their attitude of authority derides their lack of knowledge! It looks like he will enjoy more gardening soon!
4 Now that is the other people’s world sorted, now onto the daily dithering’s of BoP. AS you are well aware by now that BoP is on wind down to his apple of big trip, so the gloat inn has started on Buck of Face. Expect big things from 4pm live from Times Square in New York!
3 Back the mill, where my care less and attitude is at the moment in wind down for obvious reasons, I am again seeing some talent that wishes to join us inn the boiler room! This one has some master’s degree! They should be able to teach me then! More later, but I see qualification inflation these days as universities build their gin palaces on the back of their clients debt! Oh lord, I has only gone off on me horse again. I’ll get my coat! Mind you in a proper plaice like Grimsby, a Masters was something you did to run a trawler!
2 Night again BoP will be out and about inn town, not as he will be next Thursday night when he shall be fed and watered properly, but at the camera club, but first we has a referendum inn town about those people who have the luxury of walking to work, instead of BoP who has to work inn the boiler room. They have developed for themselves a plan! It does not like the fact that most of us own a car and travel to work, hence they want to make our place none car friendly. Good! They are on about the transport links. Good. It fails to mention that if these gin palace officials sort to walk from our present station and think about a Parkway, on both lines, then we could have an interchange for the Bristol and London line, and rid ourselves of the 19th Century infrastructure of two competing rail companies separate stations, one closed a mile apart. But as with HR, Social Workers, Educationalist and softies, their world is different to those that have to go to work! Guess I will mark my paper in the reject box.
With that I’ll go!0 -

1. Chat with someone at work who I normally only have time to say hello to. She is lovely.
2. Only left work about 10 minutes late. Thought it would be much later.
3. Tried a new recipe for tea which was good. I am trying to try more new recipes. It felt I was cooking the same meals all the time and getting bored of it .
4. Lit my candle. The smell is lovely.
5. Losing some weight.0 -

1. NPD.
2. Bus Passed>town of Gown, returning a special cushion left behind after last week's mthly LP mtg. Venue changed as attendance no.s up since last election. Disabled owner had been enquiring, so good news. & saved it from bin.
3. Again no Spits after unforeseen urgent MOT £426.70 cash paid for day's big work - (((. Done, passed, safe has to be pleasure, altho' 2nd big £hit in a month is not. Further, a seized back brake caliper, not apparent until after Test, might not have been too healthy. All was wear and tear; 'matches owner', said & wryly.
4. Crocheted masses more Afghan blanket throw (post passim)during 3. Also did bee-arch drinky duties through day for hard-working fellas. Had brought early hrs h-m batch of shortbread. Appreciated.
5. After 2, stayed on for 4hrs' high-level:-) enveloping, alphabetting, sorting, Ward-readying of LP autumn letters. Still had time to rtn lib. bks but, somehow en route, trawl CS briskly. Found 2 Spits-fit bits interesting studio pottery(a Dansk lady), new red Swan kettle(used already today), quirky eph. likely to sell.

Thursday pleasures,
Up early and over the yard for lesson on Lulu, her schooling needs work but she's so genuine it hurts.
Last of the HM veggie soup for lunch.
Cuddles with old dog, little dog stays for a couple of minutes and then dashes off somewhere but my old lady will stay in same position for hours, my arm goes to sleep but these times are precious.
Fish with fennel for supper.
