Thank you for kind words. It does make a difference.
Yesterday morning I found blood where Tiggy had been sitting. Checked her over, couldn't find a wound. Penny dropped (am having a lot of pennies dropping recently) and I checked her bottom. She has had anal gland problems in the past but never blood.
Straight to the vets. Antibiotics given but this was the first time they mentioned the slight possibility of cancer. I started crying. It surprised me too. I must be tired. I know that I am worried about a few very serious things.
So where are the pleasures ?
The nurse there loves Tiggy. The vet that is only there sporadically but whom I trust was there and he even had a cuddle with her. She allowed the internal exam without the normal fuss and crying that comes from it being very painful. I had given her painkillers as soon as I discovered the cause of the blood.
Went to my greengrocers to see if I could find a ripe avocado and I did (miracle). The grocer gave me a free bottle of milk 'cos as he says he ' likes me'. I told him I like HIM more now.................tee-hee...........
to one and all, have a wonderful day

Hope you are ok Mhags x
Oh poor Tiggy Bala, hope she is more comfy with the painkillers, PK is right in that our animals really are our family aren’t they.
For yesterday,
It blew a hooley all day which made various chores more interesting. Picked up a couple of carrot nets for the beautiful grey one and noticed how much nicer they looked than the specimens I had got in the emporium, think we need to swap to horse carrots!
Talking of whom spent time with my girlie, the school was busy and didn’t fancy taking her out near trees etc so gave her a pamper in stable.
Had a long chat with BF and making plans to meet up at end of month.
We uuumd and aaahd over what we wanted for tea, finally decided on cheesy beans on toast.
Started new book, the latest Elly Griffiths, like seeing old friends again.13 -
Thanks Lainey
yes, PK is right. I love Tiggy as a family member. To me she is my little girl. And that's the thing, they remain childlike in the sense that they never stop needing you. I think 'experts' have likened dogs to 2 year olds. The toddler stage which is accurate when it comes to Tiggy.
The one thing she does that always makes me laugh is that she will approach an inanimate object i.e plastic dustbin, cardboard box, bag left on the floor and nudge it with her nose. When it moves or rocks in response she will stand there barking. When it stops rocking she will start the whole process all over again, many times. I have even see her jump back in shock. Totally potty. :-)AKA : Bala La Boo & Bala Baloo

Hello. Workety work day as yesterday was a hospital day (for DD2) . Quiet morning then a crazy lunch! However it’s done. Tips were alright! ( exactly half of what I got on Wednesday though!) but there’s more folk working so it gets spread out further.
very slippy walk to work this morning but it was beautiful . The fields all frosty and the birds all busy.
nice walk home too. Nice fresh air after a day cooped in a hot kitchen.
long chat to to DD1 ...she was asked to leave the accommodation she was staying at ( given half an hours notice! ) apparently she’d used all the internet and that was the last straw...though she doesn’t know what the other straws were! Anyway she’s still fairly upbeat and she ( even though she’s mine and I’m biased) really is so easy going and good natured it’s a bit of a surprise . This was a free board and lodging thing in lieu of working on the land!Son just home so is attending the fire...thought I’d have to forgo my Friday fire!10 -
Hugs Bala.
We spent the morning at the vets, they had an emergency so we were caught up waiting, but it gave us an opportunity to talk things through with them also, we talked about the emergency vets, they said they are fine for supportive care but our little girl needed immediate surgery, all evidence points to she had a reaction to something called the jill jab she was given 3 weeks earlier to bring her out of season and let her mature as she hadn’t finish growing so we couldn’t neuter her. We thought she was going through a false pregnancy eating for 10 etc, the disease doesn’t tend to present until it’s an immediate emergency.
Today has been a bit hard to watch, the little girl was part of a team of now 4, but one was very attached, and he’s been searching for her all day long, I managed to play with him and distract him for an hour or more but I can’t make up for her.
1 We had to take a very lively boy ferret to the vets and they adored him he had lots of snuggles and cuddles, he’s developed a face lump, which was speared and unpleasant, so now on more painkillers, antibiotics, safe to say with everything over the past few days the bank balance is sore.
2 Home and a package we ordered was delivered 3 days early.
3 Made lunch, dh needed a car part so we decided to walk around with a fuzzie for some air, met a few nice people. It was beautiful weather.
4 After a cuppa, I set to on the upstairs, tidying, and changing he ferret bedding and our bedding, then hoovering and fresh rugs down, while airing the room as well, we got the timing right as it started hailing.
5 Cooking up a whole chicken which was rtc from lidl over Christmas, with a proper salad, while that cooked I cleaned downstairs, meh I have to be honest this may sound bad but with everything that happened and grief, the place hadn’t been cleaned at all this week.
We kept going today but I’m starting to feel a bit flat now, ah just thought of another looking forward to a soak.

And many many empathetic hugs to you. Am not over the loss of my Murphy and probably never will be so I do understand as I know many here do. Have a lovely soak. We are having chicken and salad too as long as I stop writing..........

A good day as not working.
1. Had a day out at Wisley with my sister. It was lovely and the magnolia trees were all out looking wonderful.
2. At times the sun came out and felt really warm.
3. Trains were quieter than normal. A man did stand on one journey with his back to the carriage but would have been further away from people if he had sat down.
4. Good catch up with my sister and we talked loads.
5. DS2 cooked tea and it was good with plenty of veg.
6. Chat with DS2girlfriend.10
